When I run "Fear Me!" I like pumping tactics to 13 and axe to 16 (dual superiors to get a strength to a decent level) then going, Eviscerate -> Executioners -> Desperation Blow. Who gives a crap if you fall on your ass at the end of the chain?
Seems like a decent enough skill to me, why mock it?

Yep, that's the only reason people think axes are better. Because they beat sword paladins with them. You pegged it.

LoL.
As was repeated like 5 times already. This topic is beaten to DEATH! Has been tested and debated almost since day one of GW. As was said they are BOTH best in certain situations, Axe Spiking vs mainly caster targets (squishies) and Sword vs mainly other warriors.
As a debate this thread has already attracted useless arguments... People are arguing the stupidest most redundant points, and arguing with FALSE information as their basis. The OP says that sword adrenal skills are less then axe!?!? What the crap game is he playing? Each skill in that combo is 6-8 adrenaline cept one skill. SAME AS AXE. In other words dont argue with stupidity, it just leads to more stupidity.
Examples of situation uses:
>Axe is better for Random Arena PvP - Often enemy casters, often Condition remover skills present vs sword
>Sword can be better in Team arena or GvG when more than one warrior is on your team, this means either you can both condition spam a single target or supplement Team focus fire very well.
NEITHER IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER, IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO SITUATION AND LASTLY, PREFERENCE!!
