Lets think about it, boon prot monks can avoid hexes, conditons easily and gain energy back easily with OoB, there are only two ways that come to my mind to stop this build, ya e-denail mesmer are good I geuss combined with teammate constant damage, but to really shut-down this build is to stop all these skills such as above suggesting blackout and shame and arcane theivery, sig of humility etc (pretty much any monk build eh?) and also explained above was high damage can take down this build, to me CoP seems like an elite skill of some sorts since the cast-time,recharge, and effects are great no flaws at all except the enchant requirement and removal of it

So far, I've found that the best bet to deal with a Boon Prot is to have 3 heavy damage dealers all attacking him at once, and an interupter spamming interupts on it. Granted, that kills most everything, but hey, go with what works, right?

Yes I run res sig in random. many people do not understnad when you are the last guy standing you should rez someone OTHER than your monk and I do not want to break the res chain.
Protective spirt is hard to run without channel that is why I do not run it in random.

Drop Smite Hex for CoP. Then drop Inspire Hex for Offering of Blood. I don't mean to give you a cookie cutter build that everyone uses, but its effective.

If your team is spreading enough conditions that the monk will want to spam mend ailment to get rid of them all....
Watch him cast mend ailment.
Count... 1 .... 2.
Distracting Shot. Or time it so Diversion finishes, or Disrupting Chop / Lunge, ect. Doesn't always work but definatley increases your chances. As far as disabling skills go Mend Ailment is fairly easy to hit, becuase it's easy to draw out (by spaming conditions).
Generally my ranger takes out Boon Prot by hitting everyone with poison and/or bleeding, hitting the monk with debilitating every time it refreshes, and spamming interupts on him, hoping to hit that mend ailment. Without mend ailment he has no efficient way to deal with degen and you'll tap him out.

that's any monk though. if you take out their condition removal, they are screwed with condition degen. it doesn't matter if you're talking about boon prot or whatever. also, they can still heal a lot from rof/guardian/sig of devotion spam anyway. usually in comp arena i have plenty of time and energy to heal over conditions if my mend ailment/condition is down.

exactly what Wheel said. Trouble is, if you're fighting a Boon Prot, you had better not let even ONE Mend get through.

Why status stacking in tombs can be damn funny:
7 times "Victory is Mine" in a tombs team with QZ.
