Trapping
hey all... i just wanted to get ur opinions on wat u think is most important when it comes to trapping
Skill Recharge -- using something like a +5ene>50% / 10% improve recharge and a pre-nerf (20/20) Rockmolder... this gives u good skill recharge... but not much for energy...
Skill Recharge + Energy -- maybe a staff with 10% improve recharge... +5 ene head and a +30HP wrapping
Energy -- making ur energy as high as possible by using a +15/-1 ene one hand and a +27/-1 ene off hand
i don know... it just seems many players go with energy... i've always liked going skill recharge tho...

What good is skill recharge without enough energy to use it? Even though I would rather not use the -1 regen weapons, my +15 staff does nicely.

Why not have them all? When it comes to trapping, find yourself a nice staff. I have a couple that without Insightful mods give +14 energy. With enough expertise, Quickening Zephyr, and Energizing Winds you have the energy, the energy regen, and the skill recharge.

Improved recharge would be nice, if it worked. Sadly, it's bugged and doesn't. Besides, with QZ/SQ, recharge shouldn't be much of an issue anyway.

well see that's the thing... even with 40 energy i don't have any troubles maintaining my energy... it's just waiting for the traps to recharge that bothers me... that's why i always liked going the skill recharge route

If the +skill recharge items actually worked on traps, they might be a reasonable choice. Since they don't, I don't see any reason to go for less energy. <shrug>
