Got Hacked in HoH
Was 8 v 8 on Underworld at tombs...
Now, I don't PVP that much so id ecided one day to get a lil more fame. All was well until we came across another American team. It was seconds match in, 1 before HoH and we barely had enough time to leave our base before we all died... All at the same time, ghostly hero included.
Now, there is no possible explanation for this, none of their guys was even in range for any spells... After we left, i was furious, i PM'd one of the clowns who "lol'd" before we returned to outpost and "nicely asked him wtf just happned".
His response: "lol owned, gotta love that free fame"
Later he said he had a god mode hack.......
I'm pretty turned off by PvP now, with hacks floating around, i thought MMORPG's weren't really hackable. I don't care that the hackers were winning America free favor or not, i think its unfair and very lame.

You weren't hacked, more than likely you were in the range of an EoE bomb, and the entire team sac'd itself to take out yours.

well i was mad, wouldn't you. Auto-death 2 seconds in.
So wait, there's a way to kill 8 players pets included and ghostly hero with out casting a spell or even being in sight on the mini map?
hmm i'm thinking "godmode.exe" on this one

I'm betting that it was just an EoE bomb like the others above me have already stated. I've been in a PUG group before and we died almost instantly. I knew what happened because I had seen it before and knew what to expect from an EoE bomb but all the others in my group were saying stuff like "omg they definatly are using hacks".
They were probly just a group with lots of experience with using the EoE build and had really good timing and coordination.

You just didn't see EoE pop up cause you were dead already, no big deal.

Honestly your story lacks credibility to be believed. If you pvp'd at all then you'd know that the underworld is no where near 1 away from HoH. also the only way that your entire team will die that fast is eoe bomb.

Or it's possible that Balthazar decided your team was just unworthy of entering the HoH, and cast Smite Party with 100 attribute levels in Smiting Prayers. (He's a Whammo, and he uses a Rune of Godly Smiting Prayers, which he can use, because he himself, is Godly.)
But most likely, it was EoE.

The problem is, that a very good EoE team can bring it up, and within seconds after that, you are dead. I believe you don't see spiriticons when you are dead. (anyone confirm/ deny please?)
So your perception may have been slightly off.

Nope, you don't see the spirit icons when you're dead.. noticed it last night. I was thinking along those lines for this too.
