Beastmaster Tombs Build: Enquiry
Im considering attempting to make a viable beastmaster Team build. Or at least a build which utilises mostly Beastmasters and am looking for two things.
1. People who would be willing to play the build as a test.
2. People who are willing to help me design the build. Either in the thread or PM's or any other suggested system.
EDIT: By the way here are my pets

I am going to assume both
I was thinking a good start would be what character combinations.
should we talk about it in PM or out in the open, kinda like make it a community work.

I'm in. Message me whenever I'm online. On my PvE character I currently have a lvl 8 hog, because I wanted a new pet. I would use a pvp character instead cuz of BM sup rune. I also got all the skills.

My guild [RtR] have already tried this and although it worked ok, the main thing was, the pets are as thick as sh*t. they take ages to change targets and have slight pathfinding issues at time.
So in conclusion, nice idea but it doesn't really work that well in practice.
the reactions though when other team sees pets running ina nd ignores them til they start ripping big chunks out fo you is funny though espcially is they just see pets and hear howling and automatically think iway for a few secs.

Shen Xi, im not trying to make some uber build, just somthing which is competitive, it wont be all Rangers. Do you think you could send me a copy of your guilds build in PM? since you dont seem to want it. It could help me by giving me a point from which to start.

A couple R/N using Mark of Pain each and a couple other curses like Weaken Armor and such might be worth trying.
And why not a R/W or two running IWAY and Serpent's Quickness using Debilitating Shot/Distracting Shot?

Wellll i can offer some suggestion if u like.
1 - Predators Pounce and Comfort Animal together - not too effective. Try brutal strike instead.
2 - Again double effort Pindown and Maiming Strike. Switching to Distracting shot for extra interrupt (my favorite build btw )
3 - no comments. Misses pet ressing but nothing can be done about it. IW builds not that great anyway.
4 - to hell with that debilitating shot and it's 10 second recharge. It's disrupter build. Where's our Disrupting Lunge ?

By the way, if you are looking for a pet build that owns in 4v4, try R/N.
My friend and I run very similar R/N pet build and we have two other Necros on our team. We truly rock in Team Arena. We usually got bored and left the game after winning so much. lol

Linkusmax, we were using 4 rangers with maxed beastmastery and ferocious strike as their elite + other pet skills, charm animal, comfort animal, stormchaser on one ranger for relic runs, some spirits. One necro with corpse control and mark of pain + barbs to enhance all the damage from pets (rangers should not be using elemental strings on their bows to trigger MoP and barbs, take sundering or vampiric). And the normal setup of 2 heal monks and 1 prot. You should be able to go from there
The build was LOADS of fun to run just to have laughs, even if not that effective, as Shen already said, because although pets were doing good damage, they simply take too long to switch target, which makes it very hard to run vs a team with good monks. It was pretty effective vs teams that tried to ball up though - just keep your necro alive. Since many people see pets and think "iway", many of them do try to ball up, and don't try to kill your pets untill it's already too late.
P.S. I strongly suggest creating PvP characters for tombs for elder pets, & maxed gear/runes, do not use your PvE bears and birds (even if they are elder bears, PvE animals in tombs still leave a noobish impression for your team - do you want that?).

Oh come on, that Elder Wolf is soooooooo boring!! lol
My goal is to have a team of beast masters and each has a different pet! Now, that's call STYLE. lol You gotta win with style man.
I have an Elder Warthog. But my favorite is still Moa Bird.
