The bug was when you used a stance that increased attack speed - the attack speed increase would remain after the stance ended.
Or it might have been with any stance.

read, dual, quickshot {E}, savage shot, distracting shot = 5 nice dmg arrows in a very very short period of time.

yeah but with the dual+qs+savage+distracting you can spam that because by the time youre at the end, your chain is filled again

quick shot was a great spiking skill with kindle arrows on and quickining zypher but now its nerfed so yes i believe it is a useless skill becuase the delay after u shoot the arrow is like a regualr shot other than the arrow travels a little faster to your target.

whats the point about spamming distracting? Thats a skill you should use wisely.
Savage too, and anyways QS is the lowest energy spamm solution, even if it doesnt do as much damage, I think its better.
I've calculated it this afternoon, if you spamm QS, with that +1 energy thing on your bow, and with an energy pool of 20.
you need 60x QS to run out of energy.

QS doesnt make your arrow "travel a little faster", it makes your bow shoot off the arrow 2x as quickly. So it isn't like a regular shot. It was an "uber skill" for some people who exploited it, and it didn't get nerfed. They just fixxed a bugg on the skill.
Now stop crying, QS has always been a very good elite used correctly. Open your eyes for wise combos, not for looking after possible exploits.

Quickshot doesn't make arrows travel twice as fast, it makes one attack take half as long to perform. Quickshot has always been useful because you can cram in twice as many shots in any given time hence it stacks well with add-on damage (preps, vamp strings, etc..).

Distracting isn't for spamming, it's for chaining with dual/penetrating and punishing/savage. Spamming distracting would be really stupid, you'd be sitting there on your thumbs waiting for recharge forever. Your math is wrong with the quickshot spam unless you've got all your points into expertise, but if you do you aren't doing much damage with all that spamming.

they simply stopped the recharge affects on quick shot. stacking QZ and serpents quickness would give QS a 66% faster recharge. it would be rounded to 1/2 second recharge. it was never inteded to be that fast.
all they did was change it so faster recharge no longer affects quick shot. it still fires the same 1 second as it always has been. nothing is different except the recharge is locked in at 1 second now.

If you don't like Quick shot then use Punishing shot... if you've noticed all the decent Ranger spike teams use Punishing.. yes, it has an 8 second recharge time but it deals good damage and interrupts. Now if your four spike rangers go punishing + dual with a prep and spirit, the target is dead. Spamming quickshot won't kill the target as fast as using punishing does.

Dualshot + Quickshot + Savage Shot > Dualshot + Punishing Shot, damagewise.
Remember, Punishing Shot now has the delay following it, meaning that it must be at the end of a spike. With Quickshot and Savage Shot you can fire off four arrows (compared to three with Punishing) in spike-worthy time by spamming these skills.

sry, posted it wrong there, but as you can shoot it twice as fast, it can travel twice as fast to your target (I tested it, because as the game gets the target position of the ennemi when you start pulling the arc. And as you pull the arc twice as fast, the ennemi has twice as less time to dodge your shot)
thats how I ment it.

Not really, my math is quite good and you dont need all your points in expertise:
To makes Quickshot (5energy) cost 2 energy, you need 13 in expertise.
13->52% and 52% get's rounded up to 60% as it is closer to 60% than to 40% (making it easy, you can prove this mathematically)
Now supposing you have a zealous bow, which gives you 1energy back for each hit, supposing every of your Quickshots hits. Your Quickshots only costs you 1energy. Having sacrified one pip of energy regeneration, you only get 2 energy over 3seconds. With Quickshot you shoot about once a second, that makes 5energy over 3seconds. And you only loose 6energy every 3seconds, so by ONLY using Quickshot you won't run out of energy that fast. So I'm sorry to tell you, but you're completly wrong in everything with your post.
Including the preps, that's a time where you don't shoot Quickshot, and the time it takes the prep to activate, you have regenerated its cost.
And I can tell you, that you do a hell of damage, so before you try to flame people, go and try it, because you got no clue.

More often than not with the order of the vampire thrown in there and the vampiric bows the Dual + Punishing is enough to kill the target. Obviously the Dual + Quick + Savage is too but it takes a little while longer. And the instantaneous spike damage isn't as high on the Dual + Quick part
On quick shot - it now works fine, taking away your ability to just be able to smash the key on the keyboard to fire them off isn't a nerf, it's a fix. It should definitely still be an elite skill
