No - I meant carry two of them. It forces the warriors to spend their time hunting it down instead of chain ressing.

Most IWAY warriors I have met wouldn't even think of running around chasing spirits. Having played in a few IWAY teams, I have seen warriors standing in Balths Aura stacked with Symbol of wrath with Spiteful spirit on them (or beside them) AND still fight on through it (albeit briefly).
The clever IWAY team though, is just as good as any other team build. I was in an IWAY team that beat a team of trappers. Hard to do considering you have no conditions removal on a standard IWAY team (I had brough antidote sig with me - thats all).
Maybe the trapper team were poor....
Anyways, most organised teams will beat a pug IWAY team hands down. No matter what the make up of your team. A bit of thought and co-ordination goes a long way in the tombs.

Lately my teams have been rushing the IWAY team.
If you rush them you have a 5-10 second window where they will be low dmg since they are spiriting.
1. Get the warrior to take down a ranger as fast as posible (Wild Blow needed), then after ranger has died go after all the spirits that got casted. then back on the trapper.
2. Put a mesmer on each necro, or whatever char u have to Shut down, e.g. ranger interupter or something.
3. Every person should be kiting now, for dmg reduction. Also a few Heal partys being spammed keeps the team health pretty high. Wards helps here too.
4. Double Aegis, this is very handy.
5. Good players

For noob IWAY: ALLOW them to cast frozen soil at the start of the battle and watch them run into your traps and aoe spells. I had the pleasure of seeing this earlier and it brought a big smile to my face. The whole team including the necroes was dead in under a minute and we got a flawless.

Greater Conflag + Ward Against harm + Elements + Melee practicly screws them all, hit them with AoE like Earthquake/Aftershock within ward range, and make sure you can comsume corpses at a quicker rate than there death necro. Hit them will dust traps, and make sure your bonder is running martyr.
Keep Healing seed locked onto there target, and make sureyou have a migraine mes or someone on there death necro, ready to interrupt them. Also, be on the lookout for foes casting EoE etc, be rdy to cast gale - leech signet etc, or move out of the spirits range.

If people start balling more often I'm going to start IWAYing more often ^^
That's funny when high ranked players or guilds start a match going "IGAY! LOL IGAY IGAY!" and such, only to be flawlessed becuase they ball.
Tip: Keep the Orders Necro down, keep interrupts on the Tainted Necro.

All you need to do is back up from the spirits, kite like hell, kill the trappers first and get the bodies.

Don't shadow of fear and spiteful spirit work against each other? Slower attacks = less damage from spiteful. I agree on both skills, just using them together might not be as usefull as using one or the other.
