Get in Zealot's Fire
Get in Bane Signet

A lot of people swear by channeling. Personally, I think if you need energy for a monk, offering of blood is the only way to fly, but since you want Mo/Me, I think channeling would be a reasonable option for at least your healers.

I haven't played IWAY enough to know if you'll be able to stop them with these. Symbol of wrath only lasts 5 seconds, so they can just back off or switch targets if you cast it... I don't think zealot's fire will help, since you don't have terribly many spells that target allies, except for your healers and protectors who might not be able to keep their energy up for very long anyway.

I don't think there is any reason to use bane signet in PvP. The cast time is really long and the damage is pitiful.

Fast casting doesn't affect signets. Changing to mesmers would ruin your spike, and I think make this build fall apart. If you want a mesmer spike, you could try energy surge... the effect is similar, but you'd have to split up your targets a little bit to get the full effect. Then again, you can burn off two people's energy and get a spike out of it, so it might be worth a try, if you can get it coordinated.

Just to warn you, when IWAY first came out, one of its main strengths was the ability to break down smite balls that were popular at the time. It has evolved a lot since then and I don't know if it is still quite as good as it was. I haven't seen a smite team in tombs in a long time, and this isn't quite a conventional smite ball.

I think it would probably be more in your favor, as opposed to just thinking of anti-IWAY, look on a more global scale. If you tailor your build too much toward IWAY, you may have problems with something else, maybe ranger spikes, or even just a balanced group, or air spike, for example. I think IWAY is a threat to this build, true, but that doesn't mean other builds couldn't cause you problems.

So, I'm thinking of...

Adding Energy Tap (pitiful, I know, but then...)
Adding Channeling (Yeah...)
Adding Inspired Hex and Drain Enchantment on the Heal/Prots instead.
Adding Banish (...just need to finish that little bit off...therefore pitiful damage is alright)
Adding some other prot spell...I don't know. I don't generally play monk.

Channeling is very powerful if you need your elite and can't use offering of blood. Tombs in general has alot of close quarters fighting - lots of choke points on maps, altar battles are inherently close. With the close combat, channeling will hit enough people to give you plenty of energy.

The main problem with this is that while you can spike 2 targets down relatively fast (MoS+SoJ), you have to wait a full 30 seconds to do it again, where almost any team will be able to do enough damage to take you out or otherwise shut you down so that you can't spike again in 30 seconds anyways. Most spike teams can spike every 10 seconds or so.

i prefer u use Mantra of Inscriptions instead of signets
since ur ballin u have nothing to stop Interupts i prefer u change to mo/e for their glyph or mo/e for Resolve

so SoJ / Banish / Bane / *** / **** /****
