I just saw a video by a guy named Frosty where his whole team (except one Ranger) would die almost instantly, then out of nowhere resurrect and that's it, they won... somehow. They consistently demolished the other teams by somehow all dying and then ressurecting to full life simultaneously with no DP and not doing anything, and win! What was that?!

Sounds like something known as the EoE (Edge of Extinction) bomb, I'm not exactly up to snuff with the higher levels of PvP but my understanding of it is that you have seven members who all sacrifice themselves to death, whilst one uses something like Mark of Protection, these deaths trigger Edge of Extinction dealing huge damage to the opposing team.

About the lack of DP... Uh, I dunno, my only thought would be that it was Vengeance, either that or the Morale Boost garnered from killing the Ghostly Hero neatly cancelled out your penalty.
