Complaining about runners in PvP is like complaining about a computer programmer for knowing too much about computers. Runners are so easy to counter its not funny. I've spent the past 2 weeks playing none-stop PvP and haven't had a single runner problem.

For the noobs heres a list of things that defeats runners:

Traps. Hamstring. Conditions. DOT damage. Sprint. Ranged attacks. Cornering. Knockdown. Pin down. Wild blow. Hexes.

If your team doesn't even have a single one of the above then your team is probably not fit to win the match.

Well said. Anyone who fails to bring some of these skills, maybe they should be banned

I think a better thing to say is that if your team ONLY has one of those they aren't fit to win the match. A person set up to run is NOT going to be beat by only one snare. For example, I battled a running ranger (heh, his name was something like PvP Running Ranger (not exact!)) two times yesterday. He thought ahead - brought 3 runs, hex removal, condition removal, and healing. If I would not have been able to interrupt his condition removal he really could have had us there for hours. The point being, to deal with a full-out well prepared runner, EVERYONE on the team needs atleast one spell/skill to deal with the runner, or you need someone good at interrupting. Again, I don't think they deserved to be punished for employing the tactic but the team should be punished for not preparing to deal with them. If your primary class does not have a snare, you have a secondary. If you are primary/secondary someone who doesn't have a snare, then hope your team brought something to stop them or just log out. One team I was on before didn't have snares, but we managed to block the runner against a well and kill him off.

....wow....some of you need to take night school & pick up on basic english....sure my spelling etc is not the best....but im sure 90% of people understand it perfectly fine...........now for the other 10%

let me try again.....

1) im not a runner, however.....if you want it that badly......

2) nerf nerf cry cry, moan sook nerf nerf nerf, sook cry moan, nerf nerf nerf, sook cry moan, nerf nerf nerf, cry moan sook.

you think rangers are bad now, just wait till there are ranger/assasins........if you dont like the game simply leave.....yes leave....its simple....nobody forces you to stay in a game with a ranger, nobody forces you to sit there typing pointless insults to them, nobody forces you to come here & cry about it ........NOBODY FORCES YOU TO PICK YOUR INEFFECTIVE BUILDS ....oh except mabey yourself.....see when i get burned by something i usually get something more insulated to make handling it easier.......or i just dont bother touching it again.........simple, just like 1 + 1.....however im sure some of you would like to argue about that answer aswell.....but...no, not today kiddies!

& yes "its my time" i will do whatever the heck i want aslong as it conforms within areanets user policy & rules......no matter how much you cry, i WILL enjoy myself.......yes at YOUR expense....be it with traps, interupts...or dare i say it RUNNING SKILLS.....

your happiness is not my problem.....is that arrogant...mabey......but at the end of the day, we dont play this for other people....i dont know about you...but "I" bought this game because "I" had an interest in it......my choice had nothing to do with any of you .... cheers!

My guild members are my only concern besides myself, i go out of my way to make them happy, make them rich, make them powerfull....they are my concern.....as for everone else.....meh. you are just fodder for guild training (no offence).....

so basically what im trying to say is.......see you in Team Arena's

There have been 1-2 people talking about wanting to get people banned. The rest are pointing out flaws in the competition arena system. No where have i seen anything about a nerf to any class or particular skill specifically. Also, try to make a point because you have been rambling and posturing for awhile now.

I am going to take a leap of logic here and think that you are talking to your own children playing on your own account here, because the majority of what you said here is rather nonsensical. I must congratulate you on typing alot and saying virtually nothing once again.

People do test builds occasionally and not every person is designing their character for only CA fighting. I am sure you knew that already though. It would also seem that you are advocating that healing and prot monks should bring snares too, but then we tread down the path of those "ineffective" builds you are so trying to flaunt in front of people.

Actually it has everything to do with any of them, because without them you would have no one to play with. One period at the end of a sentance is fine, unless you are opting to omit sections of quoted text for clarity and relevance. Considering the majority of the content you have spewed forth, i am not sure if i should thank you or not if you are in fact ommiting anything.

Hi, we are talking about the random arenas. You know the place where you can't count on the skill sets of the other 3 people on the team. In some of them people can have mutliple run skills and face off against people with incomplete skill sets or pre-made templates or are under level 15/10. Welcome to the conversation.

The topic drifts away from its original intent because people like myself have allready provided enough answers to solve this issue 100x over.....however people like yourself who only ready the posts on page 3.....well we just wont go there...

my guild has 30 or so members in it, they are my friends.....as i can tell you are not!

as previously mentioned, besides myself, my guildies are my only other care.....as for making friends? or needing people to play with?......umm thats what my guild is for, i invite people i like & enjoy playing with......everyone else....meh

as for CA & TA alot of mine & other peoples posts have been deleted, however since "we" know what we are talking about "we" continue the converstation.........you do not, so you flame....or atleast try....poor effort i must say, i could get myself banned with just 3 words.....want to flame me, make it worthwhile child...

this thread has out grown me & its original topic, post what you will, flame aslong as you want....i dont care
