Bah, I was just having some fun WN. You know CWz loves you guys. And that is another thing. Just because we run IWAY we hardly ever get a congratulatory Good Game from the other team at the end. If the opposing team is running a build you don't agree with does that mean you don't need to mind your manners? I know we say good game at the end of every battle regardless of how it went, unless of course someone slings an insult before we get to say it. I'd like to see some manners return to the game but maybe I'm asking too much.

maelstorm is just laughable against a ball.

Now I agree if you think about using maelstrom blindly (like their build seem to do); but a good dedicated Water Ele will make actually hard/impossible for a ball to move out of an area; at least together.

There are two ways to go about this. 1st one is Maelström followed immediately by Deep Freeze (I'm Fast Casting, so NO group has the reflexes to all move together at the same time BEFORE my Deep Freeze hits). You then Water Trident to dissorganise their running away. If you have doubts Deep Freeze would hit fast enough (most Water Eles are not Fast Cast...), if you don't have enough energy (though you should have enough; it's not as if healing balls give you a lot of pressure to attack), use Ice Spikes.

Works on balls, on single monks, and on every kind of caster that don't have hexbreaker, spellbreaker or obsidian flesh.

PS. Some of are members are under rank3 when we tombs so IWAY is a great way to get them to learn the maps, and see what other builds people run while winning

One of the reasons why PUG lose to IWAY:

Random members accept invitation and you can bet at least one them will have this opening sentence:

Random member 1: Gogogogo, what are we waiting for?
Leader: I want to make sure we bring the proper counters, bla bla
Random member 2: Ok, whatever, can we just go??!

Then the PUG goes in and gets slaughtered by IWAY.

Listen Everyone as i address to each topic here:

1. IWAY - if its so easy to counter, please don't complain about how it sucks. and if u think its too powerful, run it urself. i can't stand when people make up excuses as to why they lose... "o we just lost cuz iway is a noob build!"

2. CWz Bashing - just cuz they run iway, doesnt mean they are noobs. iway is a strong build, my clan (Warrior Nation) also runs it, so suck it up and do what our clan does... go get urself a build maker and design an anti iway build. our clan has a few already.

3. About PvP manners. I TOTALLY AGREE. u should say GG regardless of how it went, EVEN IF THEY INSULT U. our clan has a rule. if u insult the other team, ur spot is now available for the next member waiting in line to pvp. i think its horrible how people just call u noobs when u lose... its one of the reasons i dont play Warcraft 3 anymore.

in warcraft 3... if ur team wins, the other team calls u a noob for teching or a noob for massing (whichever u did). and if u lose, ur teamates AND enemies call u a noob for teching or a noob for massing (whichever u did). regular warcraft 3 games have turned into a game followed by insult slinging. and this happens every game, very rarely have i had this not happen (except if im on a team with friends of mine)

id hate to see guild wars turn into what warcraft 3 is now

ok for all those iway haters heres the deal and how my clan uses iway

We started using Iway way back when to basically get some nice faction and with that faction unlock more skillz for more builds.. in the beginning we ran a regular Iway group nothing special...

After a couple weeks we changed the build a bit to be more devastating

then a week later we noticed how ppl were trying to counter it so we improved it to find basically an unbelievable powerful force to counter the counters making basically any match a dead heat no matter if it was anti-Iway or not

for right now we havnt seen much of iway teams that run our build.. and it isnt even close to the one that is listed on this forum

now if u think we are noobs.. fine we will take the insults from ppl who have no maturity or respect for other guilds/clans/teams/ppl and just whine when they lose a game...... just remember ITS A GAME, ITS NOT LIFE, ITS A GAME if we were cheating using a glitch of some sort sure... but we arent.. they even nerfed iway now and if u cant beat it get creative and make somthing that will

btw.. never say what we are.. never say what we think of other ppl unless if u are a member and no offense but if any of u were in our clan that are bashing Iway and calling clans noobs bcuz of it.. I would do everything in my power to get u out of our clan cuz that is not tolerated.. and with how u guys are talking and bashing carwasherz most of u dont even come close to being WN material (then again im not an officer so i dont really have anywhere near a final say in booting ppl.. just high ranked minion... but hey im luved by my crew and that is all i need ^^)

Lol to say any build is run by noobs is well.. noobie

IWAY seems to be dying down a bit lately anyway for some reason, nearly every team in tombs is running tainted necro as a sideaffect from all the iway.

And a lot of teams are running dual or triple aegis and anti melee hexes, or trappers.

But sometimes we lose to iway with all these defences to a good team, an iway team run properly is very hard fight.

Yes, I am a noob, and yes, most RPGs are coming into some kind of "Teenage 1337 Angst" thing and it really pisses me off as well, as do most of us in our guild. IF anyone calls us noobs for NO REASON, then I think a report an insult button should go into the chat, and suspend them for 5 days maximum. But increase the penalty if it continues after their suspension.

And a warning to me on behalf of the 'Sane' Guildies from all over the world, only call people noobs if they insult you. Or face possible account extinction.

your taking this waaaay to seriously. alot of the times when im bored ill make a ridiculous pug, go into tombs, and call everyone a haxor because we got uberpwned. hey i even did that with someone from your guild

so what im saying is, relax a bit
