Default MF Experience?

Can anyone tell me experiences in Minion Factory?

I hear it is really better for PvE, not halls, yet at the same time theres always a PUG one forming in heros.

Minion Factory isnt really viable these days because you are guaranteed to come up against IWAY who *will* have eoe which kind of ruins things for the build..

Minion Factory is an idea that was undoubtedly devised by someone on crack. Any semi decent team will laugh hard if you run it..

Every mm build I've had the pleasure of being the corpse in has EoE covered. It doesn't take a whole of thinking to come to the conclusion of how you counter their EoE...

Spike build just has to spike the MMs... or versus minions traps from any trapper... meteor shower from the taint necro... or the Ele from the balanced build, gg.

Not very many rezmers have more than 8 brain cells to look up and interrupt that ele that is taking 5 seconds to cast one spell.

Kinda fragile build

yeah, for your MF team to get anywhere you have to have the resmers play denial mesmer on the side, which can be difficult and no one does it. But the build is waaaay too easy to destroy.

EoE will own it, as well as a well placed meteor shower or similar spell.

and against spike teams? They just spike the minion masters and watch all the "free" minions attack everything and kill the MF team. A cruel and ironic joke.

BTW the farthest i have seen a MF team in HoH is the courtyard. I dunno how they got there, prolly a large jump. But we were ranger spike and quickly murdered their MM, gg

The last time I went with an MF group, we did really good, didn't get to halls though. We lost at the courtyard, I think or somewhere around there. We won against different type of builds. We even won in relic runs where we were laughed at the beginning but then won. We did face one or two groups with EoE but we targeted it fast once we saw it.

to counter the eoe, tell a trapper to bring a eoe lvl 1.

The main problem with Minion Factory in tombs is that they don't even attempt to do well, they just let themselves get owned right inside their own base most of the time. I tried playing MF and this is how it went:

We had a good amount of minions going, and like idiots we sat in our base just raising and raising. One warrior came up and body blocked us in, with healing seed rotated on him so he took no damage. They put out frozen soil and we lost. I tell the resmers that they need to take drain enchantment and inspired enchantment (its not like their bar is full or anything anyways), and they say: "no time to use it, if we stop ressing and making minions we lose". This is exactly why MF has yet to win one round - people don't take even the simplest of countermeasures against the most common forms of super easy counters to a very fragile build as it is. Add to that that most teams never move out of their base except maybe on a relic run, and you really have to wonder why any MF pugs exist...

I've played a MM in MF alot. In my experience we could beat pretty much anything, but me had trouble facing IWAY. The Main Problem is the EoE Bomb which ruins Minions. PE and WoS also screw over MF. Ive made it to Dark Chambers with MF, but we were using a spirit ranger instead of a trapper. Spirit rangers help alot against Iway since the Minions HP is boosted alot.
