reboot,
I think you are missing the point. Until you can field a full 8 person team for gvg consistantly you won't be at the top. Removing smurf teams won't solve your problem. While there could be an argument for these teams effecting the ladder rankings in a way, they still are a group of really good pvpers. It would be no different of a situation if you faced a top all-guild team. You still have to beat them.
If you look at every gw forums' "looking for a guild" thread, there are tons of people who are itching to want to do pvp. Sure some may suck, some may shine, and some may be average, but i think this is a good place to start. It sure beats other ways of recruiting.

Just because you grind out 300 games at a 40% wins and get above 1300 rating dosen't change the fact that my guild beat you every single time we played you that season.

So your only response is that you can beat a training guild? We run every gvg in xoo main and oox with at least 2-3 inexperienced players per match, as well as rotate players after each so everyone gets a chance to play. Most of the time we don't run builds and are playing 'grab 8 and go'. You'll have to excuse me for not being impressed that you beat xoo.

We play a lot of top guild's smurfs too, and lose to them usually, but sometimes we beat them. I'd estimate that we've played more smurfs than anyone actually, because frankly, we play more of everything than anyone. However, we don't whine when we play smurfs. We take the chance to learn from them, and move on. And sometimes, we do win. Yesterday we beat a full FnlD smurf, and today a TT smurf. Last season we even beat iQ's smurf BUS, though apparently Ensign wasn't playing that night
But we always understand that you just have to play a lot of matches, and your rating will end up where it belongs. If we play with real new people and just grab 8, sometimes our rank will slip down towards 400-500. Then we'll play with strong leadership or run a build one night and end up back in the top 100-200. For example, xoo main was over rank 200 yesterday after a bad night. (remember now, worse than your 140 rank). Then after a good day today and about 10-12 matches, we're rank 87. So I really have no idea where you got your number of 60 wins it would take to get your rating back. Honestly, your guild should be much better than xoo (a training guild) if you think you have talent, so you obviously can get the same results as us if you just play more. Again, your problem is most definitley not smurf guilds.

How is that possible? The ladders rating and rank are accurate, oh wait....hmm do you get it now?

The only thing that isn't accurate is this story of yours. Your guild stopped GvG'ing completely by the 20th of october, at which point xoo ladder was ranked 300 and we had never played our obsidian spike build.
To be honest, you're an enormous scrub, and I've known that ever since I met you on IRC last season spouting off about how great your inactive guild is and making fun of xoo. In this very topic you've just been an asshat in general, in the face of all these iQ guys who are trying to help you (especially Sarus), explaining the ladder to you, inviting you to post on their forum's guild recruitment thread, etc. I'd take their advice if I were you instead of wasting more time complaining about the least of your problems.

Look reboot. You really need to stop including useless stuff in your post, because seriously you are doing much more to damage your guild's credibility and potential for good players by bashing Xoo, bragging about beating EP and arguing with people who have shown an actual ability to read.
Stop complaining about the wrong thing. You need to focus on building your guild before you start actually blaming anyone else for your plight. There is nothing worse than a weak guild member, because it truly creates a disgusting reputation like you are doing now.

SoS? I remember being in that guild. Bunch of jerks. Kicked me because I didn't have Vent installed on my laptop, which I was using for the first time playing GW. Despite the fact that it was probably the only time I would have used the laptop, and Vent was installed on my desktop, I still got kicked.
Reboot, stop whining. Nobody really cares.
