yes i know your point, currently theres no way of targetting an enemy by their number although I wish there was!

yeah, I totally agree. You can map the number pad to party members, I wish you could map it to enemies.

Actually, adding a hotkey that targetted by class would be cool. Yes, targetting through minions and pets is really annoying, even when holding ctrl.

If you where able to hotkey at target it would mean people would die a whole lot faster than usual and the monks wouldnt have much time to react so i like it the way it is.

That's probably the worst conclusion I've ever seen. Being able to target enemies by their number would make my job as a monk easier. I would be able to babysit warriors for guardian spam more easily without trying to be close to them and hitting c-space or cycling through the targets to see what they're up to. Also, it would let me instantly target one of their spikers to see when that dual shot was coming.
Letting you target offensive casters with a simple number instead of tabbing through has nothing to do with the rate of people dying, and it doesn't change how long a monk has to react. You have no idea what you're talking about.
