Yeah, we knew that LuM's build (pretty near those Ascent balanceds) is pretty weak in damage. But it has some serious advantages against 2xboon prot builds. WM is crazy and went crazy with their 4 warriors. Too bad for LuM to have *anti-balanced* build with them... If they just wuold have had some soothing images and things like that....
And u shuold have heard how one guy from LuM's homeboys cryed when observing the battle before my guilds gvg (he helps us in those)... My own thought is that LuM shuold have winned the whole challenge (not becouse of they heared my statement about boon prots and how those suck) becouse they played good build overall. They had infuse agains spikes, things against boon-prot and hexes and some things against warriors. (but nothing can beat WM's warrior madness). LuM had well balanced build but even the best balanced looses against iway time to times

The build was strange yes and in some details flawed, but we do also need to appreciate the strengths of it. The movement given by a direct mirror of 2 teams of 4 each with its own cripshot and charger was awesome. Especially in the first battle this amounted to a stack of cheap NPC shots that definately helped in VoD. If only in the thinking behind this, I would in no way equate this to IWAY. Yes there are many warriors, but here they are chosen because they are tough, self sufficient and fast, very suitable for a split. Traditional IWAY by contrast is often front loaded and with poor split capabilities.

I've not thoroughly spectated the second match, but from what I see it seemed to be pretty much an anti-WM build. Panic pushed those heal sigs hard. The lack enchant removal also obviously taken advantage of with the bonds.

Theres no denying it. WM are good at what they do. The body block around the flag stand in match 1 was awesome.
