What really sucks is that here in this whole post, we have all this talented players here! It saddens me that with all the knowledge and skill here on this one thread that no one(well not every one there were a few guys who did it), has the BAlls to teach the New generation of players how to do it right!! Its a shame, but i guess it the Nature of this GAme!!
Thing i hate most is the Retard who runs around flashing his Pvp Emote, deer, wolf etc, etc,!!! in his Ebay paid for FOW armor died black!!!!!
Were has the HONOR gone?????
And if you ever want an Arse kicking in a team based game Play BF2!!!
See yah on the Battlefield!!!!!!!!!

Actually I think this whole forum is dedicated to teaching people how to do it right. This is the one thread where people are allowed to complain about when people do it wrong. Usually these kinds of threads get locked. Think of this thread as catharsis.
Life Transfer is a decent elite for RA. Does a lot of damage and it's a self heal. Combine with Shadow Strike, Dark Pact, Vamp Gaze, Barbed Signet and voila you have a good way to kill most anything that doesn't have self heal. (Except those blasted interrupting rangers ) It's not that great against monks. Granted. Bring Mark of Subversion for them and hope you get a halfway decent team.
My fave Spiteful build is just SS, Insidious Parasite, and Enfeeble (oh yeah and PB). It is truly amusing when a weakened warrior with Insidious on him heals you for more than he hurts you. Makes you feel like an uber tank.

Another peeve of Mine:
People that stack on the monk. Nomatter what.
WHAT WHAT? What noobishness did I just say?
Simple... if their monk is like a boon toucher (My name for someone who is better at keeping themselves alive than the team - usually through boon and spamming of Heal Touch [and other stuff]), and the rest of their team are like nooby Eles with no protection from anything.
Then..DONT just stack on the monk. Espcailly if you dont have any enchant strippers or hexers on your team.
What happens 99% of the time is that monk keeps your entire team busy while the (usually softie) other characters on his team just OMGPWNZOR your entire team, who are busy trying to do any dmg to their monk.
simple fact is - targeting the non-monk characters would drop them in 2 seconds, or keep their monk so busy on 1 guy you could be owning the others..
|
Yea I love that one too. I love it even more when two or more go chasing said monk across screen while his team is left helpless yet demolishing your team.
I LOVE warriors that overextend. Amazing how fast a Wammo with mending goes down with no support thinking he's invincible.
When people keep attacking a target they're not making a dent in.
When people leave there caster's behind to be molly whuoapped. (while chasing a monk/mesmer)
Warrior's that don't bring Protection Skills. (why you've got mending right!)

Worst thing I've seen in CA was the 55 hp monk who didn't have Prot Spirit on his bar. It was funny for the five seconds it lasted.

-Never bring a ressurection signet, your monk will take care of it.
-If you die, it's the monk's fault.
-Make sure to always discourage the losing team by typing slurred nonsense in capital letters, this will ensure that you're team is "elite".
-Always attack the ranger pets instead of the opposing team because the pets actually report back to their owners with secretive information about you.

Remeber if your s warrior monk to use sprint to immediatly charge the opposing team to catch them off gaurd, then while they blankly stare at you use Symbol of Wrath and make them suffer!! Because you know the 8pts in healing should be enough to waste em!
If your a R/E bring firestorm because...It is UberAoE!!!

Actually, the IDS is a pretty decent sword, even for PvP.

sorry abt that...
and for the record i had air skills with attributes set to fire...
EDIT: A guildie and I decided to have some fun and create pre-made paladins (basic W/Mo u find in CA with mending, restore life and healing hands). We called our warriors Uber Paladin I and Uber Paladin Il and entered TA arena. We started spamming "PALADINS FTW! PALADINS R UBER L33T. MENDING FTW". We sprint in b4 our entire party and hit our enemies through empathy and SS. We died in 3 seconds and then spammed "HEAL U NOOB MONK... WE KILL U ALL ONE ON ONE PALADINS OWN. MESMERS R NOOBS. WE R L33T". Well it was great fun to see everyones reaction, and my guildie and I were laughing so hard on vent. It was hilarious.
Well I just want to apologize for doin that now because I think that I inspired half the posts on this thread.
You should all try it though its great fun...

I had a warrior hitting my W/Me the other day while running Elemental Resistance and -7 damage reduction. While it looked pretty, it was just making a big steam of zeros

Last night in CA it seemed that people decided to unleash the power of their uber builds. My fav was a mes/war using Illusionary weaponry with just a wand in hand, close second was war/ele with Lavafont, firestorm and fireball and I swear he must of had only about 5 points in fire. Finally the monk that cast mending on all of us at +3 and Live Vicariously wow great for us casters.

hehe, funny. You seem some pretty stupid stuff in pvp. Can we just remove 'paladin' from the pre-build section?
the frenzy/healsig combo is one of the best, but when they also have ascalon armour in a lvl 20 arena, and they do both at the same time, as punishing shot hits its simply hilarious. I was shouted at for using a '1 hit kill haxxor....'
The other good one is people using ressurect, or rebirth while they are on their last legs, and getting pelted with interupts. Its best when you w9 until the 7 second of rez, and then interupt, just to be more frustrating, and keeping them doing something pointless for those last few seconds.
However, the most hilarious thing that happened to me was when me and my guild were doing Minion Factory. we could rez a minion every 2 seconds, right from the beggining of the gvg match. At first they said we were n00bs, cos we didnt go out of the GH, and then after 5 minutes of waiting for us, charged headlong into about 70 bone fiends. the best bit was, they decided that the best defense was to huddle together, in order to protect themsleves from the bone minions, and then nuke themselves. unfortunately, mark of pain made short work of them. I think it took 1 volley, and the only one who survived in their team was the guy the fiends targetted.
Obviously, we are accused of using cheats, as it was impossible for us to build up those minions, and then they threatened to report us. i didnt stop laughing for the whole match (i didnt need to, i was being a corpse).
There is nothing quite like storming their guild lord with just under 100 undead, of various shapes and sizes, 15 minutes through the game, to the belated shouts of idignation from behind the walls.
in 4v4 arenas testing the suicide build was funny. i died before the doors opened, they rezzed me, i died again. and from that point i had but 1 health. Most of the team found it funny, some couldnt understand, and resorted to calling me a n00b. Ho-hum eh?

3 from random arena the other night:
1) A W/Mo who was using Prot Bond on himself.
2) A necro on my team who kept casting Dark Aura on my warrior. As luck would have it, I later got stuck in a team with both #1 and #2 at the same time.
3) A W/Me (on the opposing team at least) who used only: Ether Feast, Spirit Shackles, Backfire, Distortion, Energy Tap and Heal Sig
