What is an invinci monk?
Ok , I seen this guy woop ass in southern shiverpeaks today with his Mo/W. He just wouldnt die, as if he was invincible or something . When he said he had 55 hp I was amazed as his hp went up constantly. Then my mate tells me he has 37hp and it's called an invinci monk. He won't tell me how to do it so that's why I'm here :P
I want to know what I need for the 37hp thing one:
What skills
What attributes
What items
What 2nd profession ( if it does need a certain one )
Make it fairly simplified as im dumb as hell
Thankz

It's just a Monk with 55 HP, level 17 Protective Bond, and Balthazar's Spirit to mitigate the energy lost to Protective Bond. With that setup, the Monk will take no more than 2 damage from any hit, making him effectively impervious to normal attacks with even a minimal amount of healing.
They're far from invincible, though. While brute force attacking won't even annoy a Monk in this setup, DoTs are absolutely miserable, and any form of enchantment removal will slaughter these with a quickness. It's just that many players do not carry either of these solutions and quickly lose because of it, and there are choice PvE areas that don't have any counters to this sort of build available.
Peace,
-CxE

theres been a lot of talk about this lately. You dont need the -50hp icon, but you do need 105hp. better to go that route then pay someone 25+k for their icon that really sucks for anything else (and energy + bonus for you)

this build is only really used for farming - attempting PvP with it is a crapshoot

Distracting shot on Healing breeze. Then... laugh.
Mending alone can't save him if 4 persons are attacking.

Problem is invic monks have to avoid echantment ripping like the plague,
because every build i have heard is based on echantments.
popular at mo tho is the 55hp necro based on the incivi monk.
also there is no "build" for 55hp monk as such they are varrited slightly.

Im very sorry if youve read all these different posts, wolf. Most are worthless. A 55 monk uses protective spirit because they nerfed protective bond. This thread really shouldnt be here as this is a pve only build that you farm trolls/hydras and underworld with. You put 5 runes(1 of each and a 5th) on your armor and just do the cities of ascalon quest for the -50 hp item. Then when u have 55 life u cast spirit and only take 5 dmg per hit. Then You have mending on to constantly refill life. Kill the bad guys with smiting aoe's. The rest you can figure out on your own, but atm you will have to come up with around 60k for the runes. You dont need to buy good armor for the build either. On my 55 monk i have presearing armor dyed black with all the runes on it.

The reason that it was listing Protective Bond is that the OP was back on August 13th. Anyway, thread necromancy FTL. Case Closed.
