I am new to HoH and have got a grand total of 51 Fame points. I notice that IWAY is an easy way farm Fame but seems totally point less as I would like to earn Fame the good way.

But, as I am screaming for a group for 30 mins I am always asked to rank. I say my Rank (0) and tell them my Fame. They just say "no" and carry on looking for there ranked players. There doesnt seem to be anyway to get into group that will go and earn any repectable amount of fame that will take me.

I advertise myself as a trapper and I am fairly good at it. But I still cant get into a group. Ive even tryed looking for a HoH/GvG guild. But that is totally hopeless as I am no where near the rank 5++ that they all want.

Does any know how I can get into a group that will earn any repectable fame?
And I see the Sticky at the top of this thread hopeless as I am not here to keep saying if I am online or not.

Go to international districts, TS and Vent is required, or grind Iway seeing new skills update builds will change.

ask some friends of you to form a party in HA or your guild.

Even tho you are good at what you do , Still there are so many things you don't know , Sometime Trapper can make win or lose battle ,

ask your guild help or look for some PvP guild that willing to take Rank Zero and willing to train you ...

Find people who are willing to help and talk to you, and add them to your friends list. Once you start proving yourself to those people, they'll start messaging you to join their group. It's hard finding people to start grouping with at the start, and if you don't make friends, it won't get any easier, regardless of rank. It's a lot easier to find a group of your friends who you've played with before than it is to find a competent R9 group, even if you're R9 yourself.

i am also fairly new at hoh/pvp and would like to know how i get rank.... cause no one will let me in their groups although i have found out that dist 2 has alot of unranked groups

As wheel said, friends list is better than rank.

Most good teams are 4-5 people who played with each other a lot, and then the rest are friends of friends. Then if the team does well you can pm them and tell them to add you to their friends etc.

I havent needed to flash my rank for over a month, if someone asked me I think i would refuse!

Another way to go about this would be create your own un-ranked goups, and then apply the 'friends-list strategy'. This means that you will meet new people, and you can decide whether or not they are good HA players.

You know... reading these I tend to feel really lucky, I have no rank but I've only been asked to flash my rank once, and most of the time I can find an unranked or desperate balanced group in ~30 min and go fight. I personally just go into district 1 or 2 (depending on the time) and just flash what I can play, making sure to say that I ahve TS/Vent. Just act professional (or as professional as you can on an online game) and DON'T USE ALL CAPS! Make sure that you know how to play what you play, and that you have a general knowledge of tactics/what stuff means and what various profession combonations can be.
