mantra of inscriptions
blessed signet
reversal of fortune
gaurdian
mend ailment
divine boon
life bond
balthazars spirit
i was running that in CA for a while...cant fit an elite in there edgeways. sucks versus heavy interupt, (almost) twice the blessed sigs is twice as hard to manage effecitvely, also sucks versus hex shutdown...much fun for everything else. CA is way to hex heavy for that to work consistantly these days though.

Fun, but complete trash.

GvG Hammer Warrior
Frenzy
Sprint (Charge available but wont cancel frenzy)
Hammer Bash (Elite Version Available)
Crushing Blow
Irrestable Blow
Bulls Strike
Endure Pain (Elite Version Available)
Rez
Personally I run Backbreaker but sometimes I try a different warrior elite and see how it goes. Havent tried the elite version of endure pain yet tho.

Why would you run Bash over one of the elites?
The point of this thread was not to ask whether you can make a build that's fairly decent without an elite, but to prove that it then can't be improved with one.

If nothing else, restore condition is leagues better than mend ailment.

Shield of Deflection would be a very good substitute for Guardian. Or, you can go the route of Life Barrier instead of Life Bond to improve the build.
Restore Condition is certainly better than Mend Ailment, but isn't a substitute for Mend Ailment, definitely in Arenas, where self condition removal is much more important.

Bash is 6 Adrenaline cost, other elites are 7+
Theres 1 advantage for using it, it also cant be locked down from a Signet of Humility.
Thats 2 advantages over the elite.

You would take out one of your other skills to place Devastating Hammer, Earth Shaker, or Backbreaker. You wouldn't replace Hammer Bash. Also, you don't have the energy to support Crushing Blow, Irresistible Blow, and Bull's Strike (not to mention Sprint, Frenzy, and Endure Pain), so one of them will probably have to cave to one of the hammer elites.
At any rate, Defy Pain exists, and as such, your build is non optimal. The end.

It loses that battle, due to losing all of your adrenaline when you use it.

Fair point, not really strong enough to warrant not using an elite though.

Gotta admit the build is the closest anyone has come to a build that cant really be improved upon with an elite
Losing all adrenaline is fine for the build as bash is the only adrenaline skill

No, it's a horrible build because you cannot sustain the energy for it. In which case, you should be a bunny thumper with Ferocious Strike.

I for one would rarely run defy pain over endure. It competes with your other adren skills, and I'd rather have a longer lasting version than +armor. However I would definitely run rush on that warrior to save some energy for the nice attack skills, and run devastating or backbreaker instead of bash to save rush's adren.

He was referring to dev hammer charging itself once so it can be used every 7 hits, just like hammer bash, so there's no reason to take bash.

I hate Defy Pain, but if not using an elite, it's better than Endure Pain. This whole thread is quite pointless, but if for some reason that you weren't running an elite that could otherwise help your warrior, and were running Endure Pain, Defy Pain would be a better choice.

Indeed, I think the point has been made.
