New to PvP and had a few questions.
Ok, well I've been trying to find the right build to get me started on working towards getting to HoH but the problem is, I've looked up builds like ranger spike and EoE bomb etc.. I decided today to try creating a Mo/N to be incorporated into a ranger spike group but the question I have about certain things are as follows..
Regardless if I use the pre-made template or create a custom PvP player there is only so many items/skills to choose from, I currently only have 1700 faction and it would take forever to try to unlock items/skills with faction farming off of a crappy template. How do I go about unlocking the skills I need w/o having to make a PvE char and going thru the whole game just to unlock things I need to make a decent starter PvP char?
What would be some good recommendations to get me started off and enjoy the side of GW I'd like to pursue next which of course is the fun PvP action. Currently I have one PvE char which is my W/Mo and I've beat the game w/ him minus the Titan quests so I'm not really wanting to start over with another PvE char, I kinda plan on just doing PvP until Factions is released.
Anyways.. if anyone could please help me with this w/o calling me a noob I'd appretiate it very much.. Also if you could feel free to post an easy 'starter' PvP build if you will, so I could get used to the difference in pace from PvE. Thanks ahead of time.

Do a search for a IWAY warrior, then run that build for a while. Probably your best bet atm

QFT. You can still run IWAY, i've seen quite a few IWAYs still about.
Tbh, unlocking skills is a grind, but you have to do it to get started. I'd suggest playing a lot in random arenas to get used to the pvp aspect of the game, which would also let you unlock skills.
If your only pve char is a w/mo you may be best either rolling a shock w/e or, if you have perfect equipment, using your pve char with a changed secondary to ele.
Basic shock w/e build
shock (air magic)
eviscerate
executioners strike
frenzy
sprint
distracting blow
healing signet [for random arenas, not HA]
rez
Att points-wise, max out your weapon attribute and use either the weapon or the hex helm. If you go 9 air, you can use a storm artifact which gives +12 energy instead of a shield, which is a nice buffer against the exhaustion shock causes. If you aren't playing IWAY, you should know how to beat it. Read up on it. Ditto on all the common builds in HA.
