Make warriors stronger?
They are not overpowered at all imo.
In fact even though they have a nice dps, they are countered so easily it's not even funny.
A warrior has frenzy on. Attacks a mesmer. Mesmer casts ineptitude and clumsiness and if need be empathy.
GG warrior. For the necro. Ss + empathy = a useless warrior.
The reason why their are so many spike builds is that the warrior is so easy to shut down that people need other ways to deal damage and get through the monks healing.
Spiking. And it's ruining the fun of HoH and gvg. All you see is spiking builds and it's really really annoying.
The warrior is ridicolously underpowered imo. Not in dps just in ways it can be countered.
So if we give the warrior some skills it can use.. I don't know. Maybe something that hurts mesmers and necros.
Massive strike: If this attack hits, two random skills on the opponents skill bar are disabled for 5-10 seconds. This foe suffers a deep wound or bleeding.
just making it a longer recharge would prevent heavy spamming of this.
But it would definetly help in balancing.
I'm tired of seeing spiker builds. Let's go back to where balanced builds rule.
Maybe this isn't the right way. But if anyone has any suggestions that would help us get away from the spiking builds I would be happy.

I would suggest reading some of these forum threads before posting a thread like this one, Lorwinia. I think you will find out that lots of people have good reasons to disagree with you. We're glad to see you have an opinion, but this forum usually doesn't swing in the favor of opinion-based commentary.
Just a heads up, that's all. You'd be smart to pay attention to the justifications of the veterans out there.
And so you know, unless JR- is feeling especially gracious, this thread's gonna get put down.

Every Profession, every build needs to have a weakness, or else on one would be playing this game.

You obviously have no understanding of high level PVP... Warriors do not need to be stronger. I suggest you try playing smarter rather then asking for a buff to one of the strongest classes.
Now if this was ELE'S need a buff (and not for farming) I would agree with you.

You cannot be serious. Almost every single pressure build has a warrior. You know why? A warrior has the highest dps, an insane spike ability with deep wound, and has the highest armor in the game. Why would you want to buff the warrior with a skill that shuts down TWO of the enemy skills, causes deep wound and bleeding at the same time.

You're so off base it's not amusing in the least. Watch nearly every top 100 team on observer mode. I would wager that MAYBE a total of 10 teams don't use warriors in their builds. Most use 2. Warriors are the best damage in the game and they have very very strong spiking abilities. Research the topic before you post things like this that so strongly challenge the status quo.

Hmm, this looks like a start. I'm not sure about the randomness factor though. I mean, you disable their empathy. So what? You still have spiteful spirit on you. You disable their aegis? Oh well, guardian. You disable heal breeze? Oh well, that's what mending is for. I just think the warrior counters are to numerous to simply be disabled randomly. Rather than making warriors very, very powerful I think the solution is to nerf mesmers, necros, and monks so they can't be so anti-warrior.

I think it must be a super elite
To OP : Of course you can't compare warrior to another class one by one. Guild Wars is rock, paper, scissor game so an illusion mesmer can own a warrior but in a team with supports from other classes, warriors are very dangerous and best damage dealers.

Jeez, you did a good job of proclaiming your total ignorance. I have yet to see any truly top tier guild run a non-warrior build this season for the very good reason that they are the best offensive class in the game.

I dont agree that warriors are underpowered...even though there are tons of anti warrior skills among all the professions...However...
There ARE tier guilds out there with no warriors. Zaishen is one and I think Bring Back The Rifts is the other. Both are top 15 currently that play non warrior spikes.
