I think it was an axe with -5 energy. They use it to hide their energy against e-surgers. When they cast a spell and need energy, they quickly swap to an item which gives extra energy and then they switch back again.

This is probably the reason, I know i have a -5 energy axe that i will be using in GvG. Especially if your a spam healer of words of healing, 15 energy can be just what you need.

I believe it is actually the +55 HoD axe. When he got hit by ED i saw him switch to a Pickaxe.

Fairly sure it was a Firey Flame Spitter, if I am remembering the right skin. The HoD axe is the double bladed skin, the Firey Flame Spitter is the standard spiked axe skin.

It was a Fiery Flame Spitter, IIRC. I remember seeing the skin.

Actually, a FFS has the War Axe/PvP Axe skin, as opposed to the Spiked Axe skin. HoD axe has the Double-bladed Axe/Battle Axe skin, for reference. JR fails again.

The Fiery Flame Splitter is a collector axe available from Nicanor Gannel in Pockmark Flats (just east of Fort Ranik) in exchange for 3 Scorched Lodestones. The collector does not appear every time, so if you can't find him, re-enter the zone and try again. His appearance is not related to favor in any way.

Don't forget to put an axe mod on your fiery flame spitter. I personally have one with an enchanting mod and one with a defensive mod (in case I use Mantra of Recall instead).

It was the HoD axe that has an unconditional 25 health so you can add an axe grip of fort. and have +55 health, it was removed so they are VERY rare, my friend slooty and I took a little while to figure that one out
