Unlocking PvP-only items and skills
Hey guys, search is down, so forgive me if this has already been brought up before.
I noticed that there are some mods that are unavailable for PvP-only (i.e. 5-1 Vampiric bow string). Do these mods have to be bought/found in PvE? I know that all the skills are available through the Priest of Balthazar, but the lack of items and runes is a bit annoying.
So once again, for my PvP-only character, are runes/weapon mods gotten through the Priest of Balthazar limited for a reason?

There are no mods or runes exclusive to PVP. The only mods exclusive to PvE are the slayer suffixes.

It's really weird, because I can't find certain runes in the runes that the Priest of Balthazar offers.
It gives me a select few, but not all the runes.

The shiverpeak and ascalon priests only offer a limited selection.

Also, you can't unlock a rune if you haven't unlocked the level before it (ie no major before you unlock a minor of the same type). Weapon mods work similar, but you only need to unlock the lowest level and then you can unlock the best (ie 1/-1 vamp string then a 5/-1 vamp string)

In order to unlock a superior rune, you have to have both the minor and the major versions of that rune unlocked.
Likewise, to unlock a 5/1 vampyric bow string, you have to have the 1/1 vamp and the 3/1 vamp already unlocked. Almost every item upgrade is like this.
Additional examples:
You need a 10% enchanting mod to unlock the 20%
You need the health+20 mod to unlock the health +30 mod
You need Sundering 10/5 to unlock a sundering 10/10
