How to avoid being energy drained: (ZOMG THE SECRET THAT SHARD USES AGAINST LEELOOF, etc)
When you start a battle against any kind of e-drain mesmers, switch to your lowest energy weapon slots. Wait until they get used up or energy drained. If you need to heal someone, switch weapons to get a quick +12 or +15 energy (or +42 if you have afterburners) and cast something, then switch back to nothing so they cant drain your afterburner energy. This is why I love playing against e-drain mesmers. Thay just cant beat me. |

Please, read the thread. The OP knows how to focus swap - the problem is combatting Mind Wrack, which is specifically used to beat focus swapping.
