ok i am a member of a pretty small guild.. but we would like to start pvping because as of this moment.. we dont have enough folks for gvg..

so does anyone know a good 4on4 group build that we could use..

we have pretty much every profession exept elementalists and mesmers..

and i tried using the search feature.. but its still disabled due to high server load

With a guild you have the ability to coordinate your build, so you can spike. I'd still recommend going with a fairly basic balanced build, ie. a boon prot with 3 damage dealers (for more info look here.) You'll want to be on vent or ts, and use your primary damage to spike targets down, all while still maintaining whatever it is each member is intended to do (ie. edenial, blinding, hexing.) This can be easily be shown with an example:

team:
boon prot
air ele
edenial mesmer
thumper or axe war

First have the mesmer drain the monk, while the ele blinds any melee they have. While those 2 do that, have the thumper build adrenaline on the monk. When he's full, coordinate a spike on a soft target (usually their mesmer) and all focus all high damage attacks (such as orb, burn/surge, adren spike) on him at once. The monk won't be able to recover, even if he's not totally shut down.

It's basically just a more efficient way of running a balanced build, but it's hard to coordinate like that without a guild.

I don't recommend doing gimmick builds, but all that can be discussed in the thread I linked.

cool sounds good.. lol we tried touch ranger and .. well it was fun.. thats for sure..

about targets: ( "->" = when this is killed go to...)
warrior: monk -> mesmer -> nec -> ele
thumper: mesmer -> nec -> monk -> ele
if curse nec: pet -> hammer warrior -> axe warrior -> sword warrior...
if water ele: ice prison of the thumpers target, blurred vision on warriors, dmg spells on monk.

in other words: the axe warrior keeps the monk busy, the thumper attemps a spike whenever his target is below ~66% procent health (spike: hammer bash -> crushing blow -> brutal strike = ~300 dmg , finish with irresistible if target is healed)

works for me, change it if you want to...

Fairly hard to lose with this build, once you master running it.

- Warrior builds up and calls adren spikes on targets.

- Ranger interrupts hexers and snares where neccasary, Blackout a monk on the spike. Spread poison as much as possible.

- Flashbot handles blinding warriors and assisting the Axe on spike. Also helps keep the Warrior and Ranger free of conditions, and uses Healing Breeze to counter degen.

- Monk does monk stuff.

glad to help lol - i am just getting back into playing boon prot - the Mantra of Recall along with inspired hex works so well for energy management - i never have problems with it - flame slinger rangers own random arenas - i can take down the average mesmer without any help in around 2 seconds flat. The aeromancer is awesome for spamming (i used this for ages in Ca - so simple but so effective - full build can be found here http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...d.php?t=103714)
My main character for GvG/HoH was a tigers fury war - they are deadly simple but simply deadly when used well (apologies for rhetoric).
I have never tried this build in practace but i have played all of the characters individually to a great extent and i am almost certain it will work well.
Whatever build you have, what it comes down to is the skill of you players - so practace and any workable build you put together will still own.
