For information on IWAY builds, use the search button here, I'm sure there are plenty of topics containing builds/roles.
HA used to be located at the Toumb of the Primevil Kings, which is now a PvE area. Most players still refer to it at Toumbs simply out of habit(after all after saying Toumbs for a year, you'd think it'd be hard to stop calling it that and it is).
Now as you can't get into a Ranger Spike group, you'll need either TS or Vent, I suggest you get both. Theese fourms should again have a build for you. Some groups will only accept Rank 3+, don't worry there are still plenty of unranked groups.
For any group though, I highly suggest you only join ones using Vent/TS, as they help alot with teamwork, and coordination. Plus you'll find that the more serious players join groups with vent/ts, meaning that you'll be in a much better group(instead of that unranked PUG where some trips the timer early, 6 peolpe die at zashien, and then 5 members of your group /ragequit).

IWAY
For the most part it seems accurate.
Might be tough, but you should try to join some sort of pvp guild. You really don't want to start out in the slump of tombs today. I had it rough with the old burial mounds and scarred earth map, but there were plenty of options.
For some reason, lower tier pvp tends to use teamspeak, perhaps a wider range of accessibility, but Ventrilo is much higher quality, less feedback, less delay. It is wise to invest in a microphone or headset as this is key in achieving proper coordination.
It will be very difficult getting the first 180 fame, and you are going to want to give up. It doesn't really get easier if you start this late, but if you do invest a lot of time, you can reach the upper level.
Make sure you do scope out players with higher skill level and add them to friends list. Watch observer mode for common builds used by the teams holding hall of heroes, unlock those skills.
Good luck, and remember to be courteous and to pick your groups carefully. If you have people typing as if they were eight, that group likely is going to the ground- wasting your time.
