Hard to start out in HA?
I love my guild, they are all my friends and they are all great. However noone every wants to do HA with me. The PuGs I get are often terrible and can't follow simple requests. I mean, I always do very well in HoH when I get a group that can behave, lose and have no rage quitters, and can give/follow orders. And most of those groups that can behave like that are all R 3/6+ groups.
I used a friends second account for a while and got to rank 4, but when I got around to getting my own account, I just can't get in groups. My specialty is necro, but given an hour I can unlock skills to play anything. I don't want to condone or pay for a fame farming service, and I don't want to just win a couple matches with Edge Bomb or IWAY.
A little help? Are you guys having the same/similar problems? Maybe form a HA group here on guru so we can have perfect planing? I just want to be succesful in HA without leaving my guild or using IWAY/Edge Bomb. Thanks for listening!

Check out this thread, it might help.

And you're certainly not the only one having trouble finding a group. My best advice to you is that if you have found a nice group, add them all to your friendslist.
And you might want to concider playing as monk, although hard to master it's a lot of fun to play. You'll probably find a team quickly then since they are in high demand. Me personally like to play active prot the most.
Hopes this helps you out a little.

Thanks Ado. I often play a WoH monk or SB Infuse. I need to learn how to play a BoonProt, since I see them asked for often.

Boonprots arent that common in HA. Most teams run the following 3 monks.
1 Word of healing, heal party
2 spellbreaker, infuse
3 restore condition active prot

Boon prot is only for the most experienced of groups who can quickly dispatch spirits, because of the frequency of nature's renewal in HA. Very frustrating if you try it and NR stays down. Definately will lead to name calling and rage quitting.

QFT
Boonprots are used more in GvG and 4vs4. If you want to play prot in HA, I truly recommend going as an active prot. They are much more wanted.

Thanks. I went with a group yesterday as a WoH monk and we won a few. It was pretty fun until the rage quitters in some members showed themselves. Not too great. Still hard to find good trustworthy groups, especially looking for what I'm good at. Necro and Mesmer.

Dont give up, your first emote really is the hardest to get, and as has been mentioned earlier if you find some good people add them to your friendlist, its your best tool for HA.
