The thing about inbalence is that players go for the people who are winning. And the paradox is that the more players are there, the more they lose because the noob players are on their sides as it's the noob players that switch faction because of frontline changes.

Luxons win, noobs start joining, Kurzicks win, noobs start joining, Luxons win, noobs start joining, Kurzicks win etc etc

You can get a white Tiger on Shing Jea Island, so thats not faction specific.

today a big bunch of "newbs" or possibly even "noobs" has arrived in ft. aspenwood(kurzick)...

yesterday i won 5 of my 7 fights against luxons...

today it was horrible...

monks ran for amber(orange inner gate was down), i said bring it to radik, so he can repair this gate...
they said i am a noob, bringing them to gunther makes the godly vengeance thingy get ready faster

i was like OMG, and they think they are kurzicks?
i went to jade quarry after this fight, but no1 was there

its even worse when people from the Luxon side join in from the Kurzick and LEAVE. Anet really need to do something about that, if not i might aswell quit the game.

Today loads of people from the alliance I'm in decided to go fight fpr the Kurzicks, it was just a coincidence but anyway there was quite a few of us there. But, we were all sitting there in seperate teams for like more then 10 minutes, no opponents joined in, this was in Saltspary but still. I was then wondering, are the Luxons fewer then the Kurz or are they scared of the map?

Res points outposts and cooperative missions are under control of the faction behind that battle line.

As a kurzick If I venture into luxon territory in order to res at a guarded res point I have to either bribe the guard or kill the guards. IN addition I cannot use any Shop NPC's in towns and outposts controlled by the opposing faction. Take the Unwaking waters explorable area. The only res point in that area is guarded, so if your party dies without bribing the guards or killing them (or your faction owning that territory) you have to return to the outpost.

You don't have to be allied with Kurzicks to buy a Kurzick armor, and same for Luxons. So your alliance really doesn't matter at all (which I personally like since I prefer some Kurzick armors and some Luxon).

What merchants will talk to you is only determined by whether you have more Luxon or more Kurzick faction (and if you have 0 in both, everyone will like you ;p), it has nothing to do with what alliance your guild has sided with.

i thort i was gunna do that but apparently u can get luxon armour if ur kurzick n kurzick armour if ur luxon anyway so that duznt matter any more but the kurzick missions sound lyk ther gunna b more fun 2 do as they r ment 2 b harder n more challengin!

Luxons
They came to power by killing anyone who stood in their way. This could include rivals, friends, even family members. Luxons are more about strength.

Kurzick
They came to power through political means. They spin intricate political webs that they use to bring about the downfall of others. Deception is their weapon of choice.

Personally, I'm going to align with the Kurzicks. I've been reading the official guide and it basically shows that you can't just finish the game without. Missions will require players to be either Luxon or Kurzick (roughly the 8th mission, if you're a canthan) otherwise you can't complete the game. It's kinda sad, but I guess the notion of being neutral isn't a possibility. Oh well.

The official guide is a bunch of filthy lies and nothing but war propaganda.

We have to fight the establishment, called "Official Guide!"

Quote for truth. Kurzick armor looks better and this is reflected in amber pricing. People want amber so they farm the kurzick side. More farmers -> better players on average -> more Kurzick wins. While it will likely kill my methods to admit this, but I pvp on the kurzick side to farm gold. I hate farming, so if I can get gold from PvP I am a happy Thom. If you have a small number of guildies, it is quite you can average a nice amount of faction per hour doing either alliance battles or Ft. Aspenwood.

I continue to insist that Ft. Aspenwood favors the Kurzicks if they have half a brain about how to play. 4 good players executing strategies as individuals is normally enough to get the win. 3 players on vent all but seals the victory.

yes, I want to see some statistic to.

This would be alot of fun, and maybe they should think about switching borders more often, because its 1 every 3 hours I think and kurzick and luxon are kinda balanced atm.

They said there were 5 12v12 maps but atm I've only seen 2 of them,

I really love the 12v12

I must admit I do like some of the Kurzick armor better than the luxon armors.

However I hate the dark dingy envoirments of the forest, the Jade sea is bright an airy..

Its a matter of personal taste, neither have and factual evidence as to why one is any better that the other.. the story clearly states that both are needed to kill shiro.
