Me/A build total shutdown, good or not?
ok well i was thinking o fa total shutdown build that woul dtake out a monk easily, not kill him but disable him and just make him unusable (if thats rigth word). WEll it practically shuts down the entire monk skill bar even the elite skill so here goes.
Arcane Larceny: 10 energy 1 cast time 10 recharge
Spell. For 35 Seconds, one random spell is disabled for target foe and Arcane Larceny is replaced by that spell.
Aracen Thievery: 10 energy 1 cast time 10 recharge
Spell. For 35 seconds, one random spell is disabled for target foe and Arcane Thievery is replaced by that spell.
Signet of Humility: 0 energy 2 cast time 20 recharge
Signet. Target foe's elite skill is disabled for 10 seconds
Diversion: 10 energy 3 cast time 10 recharge
Hex Spell. For 6 seconds, the next time target foe uses skill that skill takes an aditional 56 seconds to recharge.
Shame: 10 energy 2 cast time 30 rechrage
Hex Spell. For 10 seconds, the next time target foe casts a spell that targets an ally, the spell fails and you steal up to 14 energy from that foe.
Aura of Displacement: -1 energy regen 10 energy 1/4 cast time 15 recharge
Elite Enchantment spell. When you cast Aura of Displacement, Shadow Step to target foe. When you stop maintaining Aura of Displacemnt you return to your orignal location.
Blackout: 10 energy 1 cast time 12 recharge
Skill. For 7 seconds, all of touched foe's skills are disabled, and all of your skills are disabled for 5 seconds.
Ok so well first i spam arcane thievery and Larceny on foe then diversion and/or signet of humility (can save diversion to spam later when the monk keeps casting spells. Then when the time comes i put on Aura of displacement and then i use blackout and take off aura of displacemnt to kite back to wards. this ensures safety and ensures that monks are shutdown. if my team is aout to spiek or hit all at same time i use shame which makes the monks next spell fail. Idk how good this build is but it seems good for me.
Please leave your constructive criticism and comments or questions or advice thanks.

I personal thing that Aura of Displacement is a waste of an elite slot just so u can blackout someone.

Siphon Speed
Blackout
Shroud of Silence
Drain enchant
Unnatural Signet
Res
I prefer this for Me/A solo shutdown, you can handle around 2 or 3 monks depending what they are and how you use the skills
you dash or siphon speed someone to get close, and if your only taking one monk you can blackout, shroud of silence, then blackout again on the monk for around 21 seconds of shutdown or so. or shroud 1, blackout another when team spikes, and to handle bonders you blackout fire blessed sig, cry second and they lose all bonds. You also can spirit hunt while shroud of silence is on, and interrupt spikes with cry. Siphon speed is also to slow down runners, on relic runs/carrying res orb etc.
I use this in the fire spike setup posted in a thread a few lines down

Believe it or not, the Arcane steals can sometimes steal the same spell! In other words, the second one is sometimes wasted. So, unless you plan on using them on two seperate targets, just equip one.
Another downside to Arcane steals is that it ignores recharge. In otherwords, if a monk casts say Divine Spirit, and doesn't recharge for another 30 seconds, that still may be the one you steal, which ends up being a waste. However, monks usually prefer spells with short recharge times anyway.
