Fast Cast Fire Spike

Ele attune
Fire attune
Rodgorts invocation
Fireball
Res
3 changeables
2 M/E's are up front the up fronts bring:
bed of coals
flame burst
gale
3 back Me/E's bring:

you call first target and rodgorts, fireball him. then bed of coals ele call nearest to them, and meteor shower ele uses those.
then you fireball spike till rodgorts is back.
then you do both again.
Rinse and repeat =]
*VERY IMPORTANT* you must constantly call spikes or it won't work
we were owwwnnnninnng in halls, tell me what you think, and possibly what we could use instead of rit or prot.

i dont think 5 eles with fireball will cut it. You need to do about 550 damage between all the spikers. And each fireball does about 90 damage maximum.

we ran this the other day and after the first spike, the other teams monks just litterally dont have enough heals to handle it all. you say fireball wont be enough which is true and thats why we spike rodgorts invocation first.
and fast cast ob flame isnt as good because 1, it has no pressure between, no aoe, and also the exhaustion would own you too fast
also the rit setup should have shadow song not signet of creation because you dont want all your spirits to die if they dont have to.
rit should look like
rit lord
boon of creation
shadow song
soothing
shelter
union
displacement

Wouldn't a Feast of Creation be better there instead of the Shadowsong?
I say this because the spirit attacks at random or at whatever target the Rit is attacking, since the Rit should always be casting...

I suggest replacing the Ritualist by a Martyr/Bonder monk, and have your spikers take out Armor of Earth to bring 2 Drain Enchantments, a Leech Signet, and a Cry of Frustration.
~Unknown Magic's build :
I would change the Rit for a Martyr/Bonder too.
If you do so, I think replacing a fire spiker by a BiP N/Mo with this skill bar could help:
Blood is Power
Shadow Strike
Vampiric Gaze
Comsume Corpse
Aegis
Convert Hexes
Well of the Profane
Rez signet
BiP is to help the bonder, especially against IWAY's Nature's Renewal.
Shadow Strike and Vamp gaze are to follow up the spike.
Aegis and Convert Hexes are utility skills that can be changed for whatever you want/need.
CC, for corpse control, you guessed it.
Profane is pretty good for altar holding maps and against Smite teams.
My 2 cents.

i like the martyr/bond idea, makes sense actually now that i think about since were spiking and have low armor. Convert necro would be alright if i was runnign ranger spike, but i prefer a 5th aoe spiker so were considering something like this.
either:
Rt/N or N/Rt
Consume Soul(possibly could be changed)
Draw spirit
destruction
soul rift
essence strike
necrotic traversal
earthbind
res
N/E
Taint
Fireball
Rodgorts Invocation
Putrid Explosion
Well of Profane
CC
Rotting Flesh

I don't really see the point of Tainted Flesh, since you have no Melee characters in your build. And you do not really need to protect yourself against IWAY or Degen builds with a Tainted necro, since you have a Martyr/bonder.
Also, keeping up Tainted Flesh on everyone AND spiking with Rodgort's invocation (25 energy) is really tough, even with high Soul Reaping.
If you go with a bonder I really think Blood is Power (even with only 3 Blood Magic = +4 energy regen) is best. I'd go with :
Fire Magic - 12
Soul Reaping - 9+1
Blood Magic - 3+1
Death Magic - 9+4
Fire Attunement
Fireball
Rodgort's Invocation
Consume Corpse
Well of the Profane
Putrid Explosion
Blood is Power
Rez signet
By the way, I ran a fast cast air spike with someone of your guild last night. :)

Taint wouldnt be that hard to keep up with how fast people should be dieing since this is like an all or nothing build pretty much.
Taint would also help put pressure on enemy warriors since mesmers have such low armor. Plus with just that much degen and how much burning and stuff is going on it puts alottt more pressure on enemy monks, + the rotting flesh.
