I'm using:
Group 1: Leaping Mantis Sting +20 dam, cripple 15 sec Jungle Strike +20 dam, +31 additional if target is crippled Horns of Ox +30 dam, and knockdown if target is away from allies Falling Spider +35 dam if target is knocked down, and poison for 20 secs Group 2: Dancing Daggers 17 earth damage (x3) Fox Fangs +20 dam Twisting Fangs +17 damage, and bleeding/deep wound for 16 seconds Resurection Sig rounds out the slots Dagger Mastery = 15 Deadly Arts = 11 Shadow Arts = 3 Critical Strikes = 11 Nothing to exciting for you expert build gurus out there, but it does fine by me and is very simple to use. Biggest downfall is lack of healing but a halfway decent monk on the team takes care of that issue just fine. |

I trade in Dash for Bonetti's Defense, but I basically use this build... and Healing Sig for Shadow Refuge

Whoever said Horns of the Ox is crap should be shot.
Monking has become slightly more complex with the need to stand adjacent to an ally whenever facing an assassin team. Get caught off-guard and it is very possible for an assassin to take you down. Fortunately, (in RA at least) most assassins have trouble reading skill descriptions so they still try to Ox and then Falling Spider... when I'm just happily standing there next to my buddy E/A. |
