Migraine Mesmer: What skills?
I would like to try out a Migraine mesmer in TA. I've noticed they are usually in a hex-heavy team along with other types of mesmers. Could somebody explain or post a build on how this works? I assume this type of mesmer is anti-ele, nec, mesmer with all their long casting times. I'm guessing the main point is to use migraine and arcane conumdrum on casters, cover them, and interupt with stuff like leech signet and power return? (7 sec recharge is nice) Thanks for the help.

That skillset you posted seems to be a mix of anti-melee and anti-caster. Why clumsiness? Is cry of frustration normally used in team arena? Would distortion be good?
Also, could somebody post the optimal stat setting?
edit: WHat just happened, that post Fiery made is now gone.

Arcane conundrum isn't needed in a migraine build. All you really need is migraine + phantasm, a few interupts, and then utility skills.
I don't have a set bar, when I run migraine I generally build specifically for the team I'm playing it in. Here's an example:
Migraine
Conjure Phantasm (or images of remorse, if you have energy issues)
Power drain
Complicate
Power return
inspired hex
distortion
Res sig
In TA, I find migraine to be fairly inefficient, since there are better ways to interupt. As you said, interupting is more for use on eles and necros, so migraine isn't really even needed to interupt (anything over 1s cast is mindless to interupt for a mesmer.) I recommend running power return on a MoR dom, you get an interupt every 3.5 seconds, with all the perks of a Recovery dom
Another idea is to run interupts on your anti-war, like this:
Ineptitude
Clumsiness
spirit shackles
arcane conundrum
power return
power drain (or spirit of failure)
distortion
res sig
That way on melee-heavy teams you'll be ok, and still be useful vs an all-caster team.
PS. distortion should never leave an illusion mesmers bar, period. Especially in TA. The monk has enough to worry about, and it's so cheap it's practially free defense. CoF isn't usually used in TA. Complicate works much better for skill-interupts, and you don't need to worry about caster-spike, which is what CoF is used for.
