Unyielding aura and vengeance are such horrible choices for PvP. These skills, when brought into PvP, entertain the aware player. Nothing cooler than my monk with drain enchantment scoring a one hit kill. Good luck trying to get a cover enchant in time (the long cast time gives me plenty of time to prep for the drain).

as snow was hinting at, if your warriors are blind they'll be missing 90% of the time. if your warriors aren't doing damage there will be much unneeded pressure put on you. basically, you'll have to heal for longer. this is when you run out of energy and your build falls on its face. if there is a mesmer taking shots at you it will be doubly worse.

mend condition or mend ailment ought to be on your bar.

i like holy veil to remove hexes but i think it's more important to get blind off the warriors asap. if they keep attacking thru empathy or Ss that's on them.

dont hang out in random arena for too long kamp. that's bad play in there. it's why your build is successful. read what sno says. he really knows this game and the monk class.

While this might not be the best build, I say if it works for you, play it. If its fun, play it. This is RA, not a top rated guild battle, people can do almost whatever build they want and be at least somewhat effective. I like to play in RA sometimes because I can try out silly builds that, while they might not be the most effective, are fun to play, such as a Deadly Arts/Smiting assassin. You got some glad points with this build so it obviously works sometimes.

It's a game, so have fun and try whatever build you want.

I think the point here is that there are many better options for a monk to play in RA or TA. This build may have worked a few times in random, that doesn't make a decent build. A standard boon prot or heal monk will net you many more arena wins than this. And if it doesn't... something is very wrong with the way you are monking.
