with modded iway, how can i deal with VIM and heal-ball smite?

it used to be easy when we have got MS on the tainter, but now i found it hard to beat these builds

i would think vim would be an easy win if you kill the over extended warriors. then just keep luring the rangers out. i know heal-ball has lost to iway plenty of times...just got to remember iway will always be a pressure build.

The normal vim with 6 r/w and 2 w/r is an easy fight. First just body block and kill the overextending warriors. And trust me, most vims are played by very noob players so they WILL over extend. Put down frozen. Now you've just got yourself a 6 trapper ball to deal with. Have all the warriors (as well as the rangers/ritualist) take out their bows and start shooting at the trapper. Have each person keep a target to themselves. Have the OoP nec put up some OoPs so your bows can do a bit of damage too (not neccisary but helps). Do this for about 1 min 30 secs so that any traps set before you get there have experired. Now the only traps are the few they were able to get up (which should really off only been when whirling defense was up). Seed your sprinter and have him run and set off all the traps. Make sure hes not an idiot that gets himself body blocked inside. After setting them all off have him pull back. Rememeber, the other warriors should still be bowing at this time to prevent any more traps from getting up. Once he pulls out have the other wars go in and kill the trappers. Should be easy kill because there aren't any traps left.

As for the modded ViMway that has like an ele, mesmer and a monk. If thats played by a good, co-ordinated team, its pretty much impossible to beat with the current standard IWAY build. Perhaps try modding your IWAY a bit

I doubt an iway subforum will ever happen, and If it does, expect a lot of raging amongst the guru community.

yuna's strategy works perfectly, it would help if the team was on vent though.

Against heal ball you need to split up your interupts so that very few people are getting Healing Seeds off and hope you can power through Heal Area. Traps never hurt either.

you have each warrior targeting their opposite number. You also want the casters to ping the trappers.

Its okay if they get a seed off. OoA ftw. Its also a 4 second cast with NR up so thats 4 seconds of no heal area. Melee Ward is your primary concern if they are running them. After that just get heal areas and it doesn't hurt to interupt SoJ or w/e they are spiking with either.
