Petition for Customizable PVP Templates
I know that there has been quite a bit of debate on the subject of the prebuilt classes regarding making changes to them and even having it be a reward for season 2's champion to be able to redo them. While the prebuilt professions are nice for getting your feet wet, playing pvp in Guild Wars often necessitates flexibility.
I'm sure that like many of you, I maintain a minimum of a singular slot for creating a pvp char. Therefore, when the group I'm playing with needs a whatever, I can make it on the fly. The problem with this that I have found is that when you have a bunch of people rerolling to make pvp chars it severely slows down party creation and can sometimes lead to errors. For example bringing a spiker with a fast cast wand or forgetting important runes in your armor. This can lead to build problems or a longer time to wait while someone rolls again.
What if, let's say, you could make your build, then have a checkbox at the end of the PVP creation screen that asked you to save it. Say goodbye to the Ice Blighter that you never really liked and replace with your godly shutdown mesmer build. You could theoretically keep a library of 17 different archetypes that you play or have played and liked. It could easily shorten the process of party formation by half if not more.
Now I'm not saying that we should do away with the prebuilts at all, I'm merely suggesting that as a GW player advances in PVP experience, they generally find that the constrictions of the prebuilt professions makes them obselete very soon.
I believe there could be several benefits to a system like this, but I'm sure there are some detriments as well. What do you think?

I kind of imagine it like this though. You would hav another category with those things called Templates or something. Then, when you click that category, on the right side area a list of your templates would come up. When you click each one, a down-sized picture of the skills/attributes would pup up.

Definitely. I have far more templates that I enjoy playing than the number of "PvP char slots" I have.

could be exploited, if made so that you can download them off the internet like vindexus said, you should have to already have the skills unlocked before you could use them through the template

definitely a good idea. You could have a Default PvP Templates and a Custom PvP Templates section with 2 tabs that you can select. I think there should be a limit like maybe 5 templates for each account so it doesn't over clutter because there should be a limit instead of infinite amounts.
offtopic - probably better to be moved in the suggestions section tho

Because "Templates" allow you to use skills that you haven't unlocked. If one was to take the suggestion literally, it'd be like giving everyone UAX ... not that I think that'd be a bad thing

Simple, make it so that you can't use the template.
What is UAX by the way?

Agreed
UAX is Unlock All X, X being anything that you can unlock. It differs from UAS in that as well as unlocking all skills it unlocks all weapon mods and all runes.
