Has anything changed??
So, I used to play GWs all the time like 6 months ago. I tired of PVE pretty fast, but I found Tombs (or Heroes Accent) quite fun. I would spend hours thinking up team builds, and have tried anything from balanced to various spike to even an all mesmer team. Had some success, won the hall a few times, but one thing eventually stopped me from playing. That was the long time it took to assemble a particular team build. Usually 1-2 hours, even more on some occasions. And I played long enough to have an overfull friends list, yet still couldn't fill an entire team this way. So I would have to sit in Tombs and spam messages looking for particular players. And about half the time, one of those random pickups would be terrible and end your team's run prematurely (and yes even with a minimum rank requirement). So while I found the time playing, and planning for the battles fun, the long wait was extremely frustrating. I posted suggestions how to fix this under the 'game suggestion' forums, but I would doubt it would ever get fixed. Why do I think that? Just because it probably got lost in the millions of suggestions, and the game is 'GuildWars' so they don't care about the PUG groups in Tombs/Heroes Accent. I was gonna post a link to my suggestion but it is rather old and I can't find it (had to do with a 'party formation' board of sorts, where you list the professions, required skills, ts/vent ip, minimum rank, and whatever else, and basically come back in 30 minutes or less after the team is full, and just play). Anyways I will assume this will never happen and my GW's days are done. I just wanted to whine about what ruined such a potentially cool game for me, maybe to call attention to this, and see if anyone agrees. Honestly, I can't see how anyone would enjoy playing Heroe's Accent for any amount of time, unless you have a consistent group of people always on at the same time, or you join the first random PUG you find and don't mind losing after one round. Thanks for reading my rant and let me know what you think!

I feel your pain. HA is still a joke to pug in. I personally would much rather take pugs from a list of people who advertise what they are comfortable to play and a bit about themselves than spam for a rX+ sb infuser and end up getting someone who takes healing breeze but is inexplicably r9.

And thats one of the reasons I went to IWAY. If the fact that you can form at team in about 5-10 minutes as opposed to the usually 1-2+ hours isn't enough of an incentive to play IWAY, I don't know what is...

Making groups is a nightmare, even in PVE. I can't Imagine how difficult it is in HOH. Even doing a BP run in TOPK, it takes as long to form a group as it takes to finish the run. It is outrageous.

I'm liable to take breeze on my infuser, depending on the build at hand, haha...

Even one so stubborn as myself is beginning to run a few rounds of IWAY. I gotta face the facts: PUG balanced teams take too long to assemble, and they are usually awful in the first place. As long as you're in a r3+ IWAY, you'll win at least as often as you lose, which is saying a lot as far as PUGs go.
That said, I am not endorsing IWAY. But a player's frustration can only go so far.
(Off-topic: Yuna, if you need a W/R to fill out your lineup, feel free to pm me in-game. FTW, of course.)

3. Make your own teams. IWAY ranked players are less liable to join test builds. Obviously this depends on the strength of your build but Ive been lucky with 2 builds that have managed o get me 50%+ of my fame.
EDIT: Forgot the point of the thread about time, put a little note in your advert that your willing to wait for people to reroll and I usually have a team ready in under 30 minutes.

Iway orders have to know how to infuse. And trust me, someone whos never played IWAY could suck at infusing too. Playing a shock war or fire ele isn't going to help you become better at infusing. Infusing is just pure fast reflexes.

Heheh. No offense but when you win halls there is like noone else playing. Its the deadest hour in the game and you normally skip from UW or BM and hope you don't face OUT or CC who are the only decent teams on at that time.
Also, unless I'm mistaken you gained r0-6 from IWAY so here's to hoping you don't play infuser ;p

I made groups for a long time and don't believe that for a minute. My guess is, like someone mentioned, that you play at a time when GW's is vacant, and just invite anyone into a group with little attention to skills, rank, or even professions. Then probably jump to HOH after one victory.
