Build Advice (R/Mo)
I just recently got to Hero's Ascent today using the same build that got me from Random's to here. Though starting off good, I have hit a run of bad luck now and need advice on how to improve it.
===========
Ranger/Monk (Mo mainly for PvE)
Level 20
Expertise: 12 (Minor Rune)
Wilderness Survival: 8 (Minor Rune)
Marksmanship: 12 (Minor Rune)
Skills:
Crippling Shot [E] (Marksmanship)
Hunter's Shot (Marksmanship)
Distracting Shot (Expertise)
Apply Poison (Wilderness Survival)
Whirling Defense (Expertise)
Frozen Soil (Wilderness Survival)
Troll Unurgent {sp?} (Wilderness Survival)
Resurrection Signet (none)
===========
Any advice helps.

Typically in HA, you want to run the build that suits whatever group you're with. Some groups will need you to spam spirits with Oath Shot, other groups will need you to interrupt with Practiced Stance + Choking Gas, and still others will want you to spike. You need to tailor your build such that it fits the rest of you team.

You're going to need at least a superior rune in there somewhere (probably expertise), but a lot of people use a superior and a major, or 2 major runes. 14 is the magic number for expertise for most people. I think a decent group could make good use of a cripshot ranger, but if you're just starting, you're likely going to end up with some highly unorganized teams, and the other team is just going to remove the conditions and have a nice day. I think cripshot rangers just aren't used much because of the layout of the map. It's a small space, so you can just trap/ward in key locations. I'd say, just join a group that's looking for some type of ranger, and you'll probably do well at it, but if you join a group and they don't give you a skillbar, it's probably not a group that you'd have fun playing with.

Hmmm, Thanks for the advice.
I need to cap a few more elites now. But tell me this, the spirit-spam rangers that bring Energizing Wind/End of Extinction normally have what level in Beast Mastery?
