Basicly a mesmer/warrior or assassin/mesmer would serve your purpose better, if you want to hit things and cast spells. Some of people take hexbreaker and power drain or power leak on a standard warrior, though, that's the most common example of a warrior/mesmer, and will probably get you the farthest, but it isn't much to your original goal. Warrior's really don't have the energy to cast many spells.

Grrrr...... This is what I was afraid of; the fact that there may be no "best" mix, but certinaly the presence of bad mixes, lol. I guessed Im starting over for the 4th time -.-
What is a good build starting with warrior (sword)? I don't want to become a tank, as that's boring.... I wanted to pick a offensive build that would be strong and fun to play, requiring alot of thinking and such.....
P.S. I hear alot fo people complaining about spirit builds. What is a spirit build?

You could also try Blackout - use it after a skill like Final Thrust which spends all of your Adrenaline.
Remember that you can create a toon especially for PvP - so don't feel like your PvE toon has to be suitable for the arenas.
Most builds worth playing require some thought. Playing a build to it's full potential always requires thought.

Hmm, well, a standard sword build might be something like.
sever artery
gash
final thrust
frenzy
bull's charge
healing signet
[utility]
res signet
Build adrenaline, spike with sever->gash->final. Use frenzy, but cancel with bull's the moment you come under attack, use bull's to stop kiters, etc.
Basically all warrior builds take a lot of thinking to play them well (at least in high-end PvP). However, you're not going to get all of this by reading, it takes quite a bit of experience to learn all about target switching, overextending, positioning, etc.
Also, what you find fun to play depends on you, so I can't really suggest a fun build. Some other fun warrior buids would be something like a hammerwar, I've always found KDing someone for 6 sec while bashing their skull in to be fun.
Devastating hammer
Fierce Blow
Crushing Blow
Hammer Bash
Frenzy
Sprint
Healing signet/[utility]
Res Sig
That's a fairly standard hammer build. Same thing, build adrenaline, spike with the combo while under frenzy, cancel frenzy with sprint, etc.
PS: There are no tanks in PvP, in PvP all warriors are (or should be) designed to deal damage.
PPS: (or is it PSS?) spirit spammers are either ritualists or rangers who use either ritual lord or oath shot to spam spirits. Generally, these spirits are defensive in nature or are global enchantments that screw up your team. They also ahve VERY long range, allowing them to be deep in your backline.

Well, I did a bit of rreading and am plannign to make a warrior/monk now along with the 459384577489 others in-game. I thought I heard from somebody that every mix was supposed to be equally goood...... Well, I guess not, lol.
I wanted to make a strictly PvP character. I find ighting against PC very superfluous.

You really have to do some PvE to break into PvP... unless you want to play the PvP templates for a few dozen hours to earn enough faction to unlock skills, runes, and weapon upgrades.
As for all class combos being equal, yes and no. Some combos are better in different arenas/situations. A W/Mo can be powerful in RA/TA, but not so much in HoH or GvG.

It doesn't matter what secondary you choose, after you do the first 2 missions you will be about level 20 and will have access to senji, the secondary profession changer Choose whatever you want for the first part of the game.

A peice of advise would also be not to take everything people say ingame with a grain of salt. Most don't know what they're talking about. Another thing is to be specific when asking for build help. Are you making a pve char and working him through the game, and want to unlock you're stuff there? Are you planning on getting into an active gvg guild? Where do you play pvp the most? All things you should specify, really.

Oh, ok. Well, I was planning to build a character who would be proficient in a GvG type of deal.
Is a War/Monk sword/smite a good combo? Seems cliche, but sounds nice.

Well, there isn't one build per profession, and they're in pretty good balance, but you can't really stray too far from the archtypes of sword, hammer, and axe that already exsist. Really it'd be better for you to run one of them and get smited off of, or run on of them next to a domination mesmer then try do all at once.
If you're doing RA or just experimental GvG, make sure you have a speedbuff(sprint or rush, but their are options outside of warrior, maybe), an increased attack stance(frenzy or tigers fury are pretty common), a way to inflict deepwound(evis, crushing, and gash, respectivly) and a ressig. After that go crazy, but your build might not be optimal.

I've seen the following elites run somewhat effectively on a sword W/Me:
Expel Hexes
Power Block
Shatter storm
But that is definitely advanced stuff. I would advise starting out your warrior career as one of the typical builds: shock axe, hammer chain, charge/sword. Definitely practice with frenzy/sprint(or rush) as well as healing signet.

Power leak works well, and isn't difficult to use since you'll have a very good view of your target. It really does a number on boon prots when you leak their mantra of recovery / e-drain.

Do you mean power leak?
The choice of secondary isn't really a huge deal on a warrior. You generally will reserve one slot to a utility skill from your secondary, the rest will be warrior skills.
W/Me isn't a bad choice. I especially like power leak, since it's a fast, reliable, interrupt with an extremely debilitating effect.

True. Every secondary (except perhaps rit) has at least 1 or 2 skills that are great on warriors.
W/Me is also good for hexbreaker.

Well, outside of HA I wouldn't consider CS to be good, just because outside of HA there aren't enough rits to warrant your elite.
