What if...
If we could mod one of the necromancer builds , blood spike or FoC spike or whatever.
As we all know those builds use traditionally 2-4 spiking skills(mostly 3)
What if those necros would change their attribute (blood magic / curse magic) to 12 Smiting Prayers? What i mean is, we could replace those 3 skills for Ray Of Judgment / Spear Of Light / Banish / Eventually something else.
What do you guys think? Ray of judgment would then do 90 damage, thats 540 damage, if we use 6 spikers, comparing to blood spike which does 478 as their main spike. And after spike, Banish, 294 damage, a total of 708 damage comparing to 858 damage of blood spike. I dunno, just wanted to notice the diffrence. We could also add that Spear Of light instead/with it, but thats a projectile so...

Ray of judgement = elite + skill disable
bspike works well because they can all heal each other and have strong monk elites, if you have a full party of disabled chars guess how long you will ask?
the build you want is Mo/R smiteball, they use spear of light +/ banish and signet of judgement, and stay in a bunch and use healing spring and heal area. if anything comes near they drop symbol of wrath and spike. Same concept, using casters as defence and offence

Modding Blood Spike is a good idea IMO. I personally think that one of the N/Mo's could easily be replaced with an air E/Mo with Prodigy. I don't know why people haven't done this yet. Perhaps the LoS would cause a huge problem?

The entire point of Necro Spike is the holding potential of having 6 secondary monks, fueled by Soul Reaping. Yes, you can change the use of the secondary and maybe have a stronger spike, but it leaves you with no healing and therefore no holding potential. Not to mention being incredibly fragile in general... not a good idea.

You could also run seven Spell Slashers and an Orders Necro.
