...and in a "normal" enviroment you cannot deny the smite build of iQ would not pwn so much... for both evolution, adaptation and invention would certainly prevent such scores.
They went in for the rush...they took the right tactics for it... for that chapeau! (I for one did not even try it ), but this is not a winning ladder tactic when fighting in the ordinary season... as simply proofed by the fact it didnt happen

I assume that this is because you wanted the ability to bring the pet with as the battle location moves. Do you feel that Retreat! is broken in its current state?
It was quite amusing to observe the battle and see a level 4 pet named Bob Dole.

Did you in fact run it instead of res sig, and the whole time? I could have sworn I saw both valor and apollo running the bar I posted earlier, sever/gash/final/frenzy/bulls{E}/retreat/charm animal/res sig...

If you're already running w/r, why not squeeze in tiger's fury? I assume because of the investment in beast mastery you'd have to make that is kinda implausible skill point wise.

Yeah, you needed to be able to move the pet around as the battlefield changed, "Retreat!" has a radar effect range but you need to be within a ward of the dead pet. Careful pet corpse placement was key. =)
I don't know that it's broken, but it's a very strong skill especially in the mirror - it made it so you couldn't escape our thumpers, and our monks could kite your warriors (faster than Sprint!) around half the time. It was good enough that we invested 3 skill slots on it. Of course that we were willing to invest that much into making the skill work is a pretty good sign that something is out of whack itself. I certainly wouldn't argue with a nerf to the skill.

Bob Dole was a champion.

I think every character in the build underwent minor changes over the course of the weekend. But I'm sure the warrior always had Charm + Comfort. There's no way that you can run Charm without Comfort on that guy, if your pet dies in a bad place without Comfort you have two dead skills on your bar.
The warrior briefly had a ressig in place of Final Thrust for a couple of games when we were shuffling sigs around, but that was the extent of it I think.
Peace,
-CxE

Why wouldn't you want a monk with infinite energy?

This ladder season means nothing because there are basically 2 builds that wtfpwn every other build there is. and those 2 builds are combinable into one build (dual smite thumpers needs a nerf, BADLY)
