Yea, Poison mods are nice for when you bust out Poison Arrow/Apply. Vampiric though, I've yet to try since I ph33r the health degen. >_<

fine, my be all end all bow post:
recurve: almost always use this, unless you're ranger spiking, in which case 5/1 vamp hornbow, 20/20 longbow.

zealous is kinda crap in pvp, it's only good with barrage, expertise should handle energy needs, the extra +1 energy regen is better.

elemental is decent vs warriors, but I can't think of a time I've played ranger and needed to do heavy damage to them.

choking gas rangers use recurve or shortbows, I prefer recurves, there's another post on the board about this.

vamp is kinda useless in pvp too, unless ranger spiking

out of longbow abd flatbow, i choose longbow.

if i was allowed to choose any bow for pvp, it would be a shortbow.

personal preference.

I have shortbow and longbow.

I just feel mroe secure using a shortbow, plus its the only bow apart from longbow that i have ever used

Elemental damage > Sundering for warrior killing. Elemental bypasses up to 20AL, and ignores sup absorption and shield damage reduction.
