Looking for energy management strategies
Okay, here is the deal. I have a great new build that is working out well. At least, it would be, except I constantly have no energy.
The build is based around obsidian flame, which causes exhaustion. Additionally, the object is to cast it as fast and often as possible.
Is there any way to retain energy, and overcome the exhaustion?

glyph of energy (elite) kid, thats the way to go. heck, you can even use obsidian flame a second time immediately after, since one exhaustion on you most likely wont hurt.

I looked at Glyph of energy, but doesn't it have a 15 second recharge time?
It still is pretty useful I guess.

At this time, Glyph of Energy is the only way to prevent exhaustion. And there is no way to recover from exhaustion any faster than normal. Bottom line, if your build is based around spamming Obsidian Flame you either need Glyph of Energy or you need to rethink your build. Otherwise you're going to end up completely exhausted in no time. Obsidian Flame is good because it is armor ignoring, relatively high damage, and fast recharge. However without Glyph of Energy it isn't realistic to spam it.
Honestly though there are other skills to consider rather than Obsidian Flame that cause as much or more damage to low armor targets, and yet don't cause exhaustion...
