why i hate random arenas...
i'm not sure if this is in the right place..ithink it is. anyways, i was just in random arenas on my boon prot, going on our 4th match. it was elimination, and the first 3 went down easy..the last one however was a wammo, and he ran. the whole time. i left around 43 minutes, because i got fed up with trying to get him to leave. and 2 of our guys had left so it was me and a W/E. has this ever happened to anyone else? i think there should be some sort of time limit...even on elimination.

what I do in those cases is just sit and ignore him and tell my team to do so... they eventually leave

we tried..he just stayed and ran around us in circles attacking me once occasionally maybe i'm the fool here for staying there for 43 minutes

I see this all the time...I even had a naked wammo without a weapon, prob. a empty skillbar dancing at the base...total waste of time.

On a boon prot you probably don't have a snare, but any other class should either have a snare or enough degen to get any runner. Otherwise... well you know...

yeah i didn't have a snare but i think there should be some sort of limit on these kinds of things, cause it gets really out of hand

this is a common problem and we have had threads on it before.
the 2 sides are. The one side that says ur an ass and waste of everyones time to go to random with a griefier build. The other says well you should bring snares and such to deal with it. I say these ppl get a ban for griefing but anet says that they are fine so....were all stuck. Anyways this is the reason i hate the ppl that say you have skills to deal with runners. If your a monk you really shouldn't have a snare and its random so its not your fault if you got 3 wammos with mending. |
