I just thought when in a big situation to try and limit the luck factor. Why take a risk when there was so much on the line? Maybe in game 1 do that so you can still rebound from it. What did you think your chance of winning was with a balanced? with the smite? Just doesn't make sense that with only 1 game to go you would do something that has a very high risk of losing especially with the strategy used....
and doing something like turtling the guild lord with a vod build isnt acting retarded, its something I would have expected in a the game 3 vs war machine... not retarded ..just a lame tactic that should be frowned upon.

I can understand the first rush as a huge gamble high risk/high loss, but why did you guys continue to rush them after they caught on to your strategy? Did you guys have a "Plan B" in case the rush didn't work?
Seeing how smart team iQ is, I doubt you guys didn't realize the mesmer threat to your DPS. Why continue putting all your chips in when you know there's a high probability of failure?

Enlighten me as to why you take such a gamble over and over and over again.

1) Turtling isn't some "Balls to the Wall" strategy you pulled out of your butt (dont want rough words in here)...Turtling is a valid (and more often used than you'd admit) strategy - That was actually pretty smart against EvIL because of their play style. Alittle Risky maybe..but not comparable to Game 3 of WM.
2) Noone said (that I know) that running Tri-smite and trying that gank straight out was stupid anyway...It too was a valid strategy to try to take them off guard.
What everyone is confused over is the REST of the match. The rest of the match after you were put down in their base...basically looked like it consisted of yall doing suicide runs into them apparently looking like you didn't care anymore (and Guildwars.com's match report says the same thing). It left the fans confused...

if you just did the 1 suicide run and turtles you would have had a better chance of winning. with only 15-30dp with triple smite vod would be incredibly easy with the high damage output.

Turtling would have just made the game last a little longer. I don't think it would have improved their chances of winning, especially since you have all 3 WM mesmers in one place.
