most of the time Luxon don't even bother with the roost right away. And when you do face reds there they got to the shrine at the same time anyways.

A glitch that will get fixed, otherwise luxons have such an advantage it is not even funny.
Besides I don't see why you complain. You guys got tons of faction, luxons won 80% of the games there. If I was luxon I would be happy to keep canyon map all the time. Would easily max the friends of luxons title.

1) Nope, true, the route from the center warp point from the luxon camp to the Roost going up the ramp is longer then the Kurzick one. Hence, Kurzicks get their faster.
2) Speaking from personal experience from a few months ago when I left Abs due to the way they were made. From the Kurzick base, me and my team would ALWAYS cap the center rez shrine first. We got there at the same time as the Luxons and usually killed them.

I thought it was neat to see a noticable change for once, and if I'm not mistaken didn't Anet say in an interview about Factions before it was released that special events would take place if one side took control of the entire map. When I saw it yesterday the Luxons had Breaker Hollow, but for awhile Kurzicks did have it, so did they ahve everything conquered? ot was there mroe they could have taken over?

many do suck, but not all of us. Would you care to take me on , heh heh, I know all about tactics, I perfer to w8 till all the noobs are fighting each other, then solo cap the mes, ranger, monk, Rit, shrines. All I ever see kurzicks do is walk around in 1 big group, that just makes it easier for me, and as for Kurzick MMs (cause that pretty much all they use) Verata's aura with my necro is a big help. BTW I agree with you, I won each match I had on that map, so I don't believe that there is a bug, those luxons are just crybabies.

Alright besides the childish name calling can anyone really explain what happened to allow the lines get pushed back so far? No offense to any Kurz but your teams were hardly good enough to push the luxons back that far in about a day. I play alliance battles almost exculsivley now when I play and to be honest neither side had the ability to push that far or deep in such a short amount of time. So I'm wondering if Anet artifically tampered with the lines? Maybe to just to test the canyon mission or see if one side could actually control everything because I highly doubt that the move was player oriented.

It took the Luxons less than a day to come back and push the border all the way to the edge of Kurzick lands.
I played 12 games since yesterday afternoon, won 10 of the 12. And I may play some more later, to push the Kurzicks back under their damp, moldy logs with the other slugs.

I doubt this is ArenaNet's doing. By coincidence the Luxons managed to loose enough games in a row where they got pushed back to a map where they're supposed to have a crazy advantage but really don't. Thus, we have a stalemate.

No, the Kanaii map wasn't that bad. As a luxon, I gained a ton of faction yesterday (whether the Kurzicks were using the bug or not). I have no problem with that map coming back around again (sooner the better) . As far as Luxons not being able to purchase 15K armor, is that rumor confirmed? I've heard both sides, and never got a definite answer...

Jesus christ, its why do people say luxens suck, kurzicks suck ect, YOU ARE BOTH EQUAL. Kurzicks only pushed so far back because there were 7 kurzick guilds, 4 of wich im my allience playing at the same time. In one match it the allience i was in that was playing, no others. It was quite simply a massicre as we are all organized pvp guilds. Luxens dont suck, kurzicks dont suck, its the players that suck.
Both luxens and kurzicks run around in "barbarian hordes" The people that say and i quote "Omg you kurzick losers go back to ur tree huggin you gothy freaks" or "Go back to your turtle screwing you suxens" are stupid 7 year olds dont even know what they are talking about, and if you get aggrovated by it or you respond to it, you are equally as bad. If a rank 10+ with all the players wearing the champion title (3) "luxen" guild started playing ab, and the kurzicks lost. Does that mean that kurzicks suck? No, it means there were some organized and co-ordinated players on the other team that beat them hands down. And what happens if that guild feels like re-allining to kurzicks and then luxens start losing,do the luxens suck ?
Answer me that.

you know... this might all be very exciting if the faction line actually meant something. right now, it doesn't really.
if you need to use the merchant, just map to your guild hall or maatu keep and buy/sell there. if you need to craft armor, just go do a repeatable quest until you have slightly more (even 1 more faction counts) and then craft your armor.
other than that, life goes on. the line means nothing, and it's certainly not the end of the world.

Regarding the amor thing.. I went to the leviathian pits yesterday while it was under kurzick control. Despite the fact that I had more kurzick faction, the 15k crafter would not talk to me.

I gotta say again, gg ANet on balancing the maps.
You'd think after 3 months of seeing nothing but the neutral and the first line of Luxon defense and every so often (but very rarely) the first line of Kurzick defense, they'd know there's something wrong with the maps...
Fort Aspenwood gives Faction, but does nothing to the line. Alliance Battles (accessable through the Guild Hall) do. The line doesn't really change the way you play PvE, except the NPC of the towns taken over are alligned to whatever faction controls them, meaning if you have more Luxon Faction then Kurzick, you won't be able to access the merchant in towns like Leviathan Pits or Eredon Terrace (as they are under Kurzick control). This also means you need more Kurzick Faction then Luxon Faction to buy 15k Luxon Armor at the moment.

i think people overstate what ever slight imbalance the kurzicks have on that map
even if they can reach dragon a split second sooner i doubt its the factor of why the kurzicks win more often
its not like you can cap before luxon comes
and then etnaran is a clear advantage to Luxons. They get the 4-3 advantage in beginning, including the only res shrine. The problem is luxons often play right into the kurzick advantage: the ele shrine which they rush in and die and let that kurzick team push through and flank the back bases. And it must be a luxon advantage considering the kurzicks rarely push passed etnaran
