I've done almost no PvP at all and don't have a vast understanding, but one day I hope to open up that chest in HoH...

Air eles are very rare in HA. Earth and Fire are more often needed.

I have earth and fire skills too... but fire just sucks, and I don't find earth quite as fun as air. Then again I've never done HA so I don't know what the hell I'm talking about, and I'm fed up of sounding like a complete retard...

fire ele's in a ha builds really good.

dont use pve firestorm ele of course.

fireball and flameburst is alot of pressure on the other team.

And THERES NO SUCH THING AS A TANK IN PVP.
warriors=main source of dmg

I've been doing PvP since april bought the game in january and im atm rank 2(77fame) won most of the games as mesmer edenial or migraine( a bit of blood spike and some shock war too) but still have a lot to learn about pvp, and since my guild is not gvg'ing a lot and forming a party is quite the impossible mission these days at least for me. So if you guys need some of the chars stated above, whisp me(IGN- Sotil Costa/ Light Solrac) i'll be glad to help and try my best with ya guys...

I'm bored with people who put others down for their views as well...some people take things way WAY to seriously. I am also an air elementalist...air all the way I say. I couldn't give one if people don't like it and I'll use it if I want to. I'm not against using earth, water or fire but air is way more fun. I have been kicked off teams before because people didn't like the fact that I was 'air' as opposed to anything else.

Perhaps someone can explain why air always provokes such a heated debate, earth & fire never have this effect...I feel people don't like the appearence that air gives elementalists god-like powers. It's just jealousy!

I'm an air elementalist - a sodding powerful one - and I couldn't give one if it's not as effective in some instances as it is in others - I like using it and it's why I play this game.

Sorry if this is out of keeping with the theme of the thread - I just don't like people to feel as though they are retards when they just speak their mind.

Firstly, there is nothing wrong with Air, but people brought up on HA play generally have very set ideas on what is good and what isn't. These ideas are generally pretty flawed, and based off old idealogies that haven't died because HA has no 'metagame' to speak of.

Secondly, you were kicked because people like to win. You wont win if you aren't running a pretty optimal build, thus why you were kicked. Again though, I would not agree that a correctly built Air Ele was bad in HA, this simply seems to be a fairly common opinion amongst HA players.

-Guild is more of a PvE guild, but I don't wanna quit becasue its a good guild and alot of nice people in it

I normally uses a Mo/N Boon Prot, but still have the whole Rank 0 thing that stops me from getting into good teams. Being a healer, i have no trouble getting into "pick a random 8" groups, but have never made it past the 1st UW arena.

I'm just looking for more people in my situation who would maybe like to create a team using a certain build. I'm perfectly happy to create new characters or anything (just tell me what to do)

-Rank 0 i have 2 fame point's.....

-I play as a Spiker Earth ele also using ward's to protect my team, I got a mesmar going to make him into a powerblock domination mesmar,A warrior might make him into a Iway warrior,Ive got more char's but i dont see them as being pvp rdy..

-I get kicked from team's for just being a Ele,as people tell me and because of me not having a rank title...

-The guild im with isnt a PvP based guild, good guild but not for pvp..

-I'm online very often in the week and the weekend, i play long hours trying to get a rank title.

I played since beta and not being able to get a rank title really does hurt so i would like to get a title fast as possible.

Hey everyone. I'm Tamriel Cyrodiil... I'm I'm a HoH n00b. I've never actually been to HoH, mainly because I don't know what everyone wants. However, I recently unlocked a good Ritualist build, so I can now run Ritualist Lord for teams (Yeah right, like anyone wants a r0 noob?)

In-game name: usually my PvP character Root Beer Baron
Prefered Roll: Spirit Lord (I had to do Random Arenas for hours to unlock all the faction for this -_-)
Online: Pretty much every day. I have 2 brothers though, and we have to take hourly turns on GW LOL.

Add me to friends if you need a Spirit Lord, I'd really like it =)

Have played almost every build in this game.
