Double fame weekend, sure it's intriguing and I'd be pretty content with about 1k fame from it but if server issues continue to act up, I'll be holding with 3 people and 3 henchies...

In the last week, almost every other match, 3 people on different ISPs in different countries lock up and "Skill glitch" for a period of 2-5 minutes until they either come back or error 7. After the lag settles I usually see the other team has lost anywhere from 1-3 to an error 7 as well. If ArenaNet doesn't get server issues resolved half the teams will be henchway after 2 fights anyways.

Anyone else been having this problem and/or found any solution to it?

The lag issue is pretty disgusting and I am quite sure noone has any answers. I have had a series of 6 interchanges on err7 issues this week with Anet (Anet "try this", Me "did not work, please advise", Anet "Hmm try this", Me "did not work, please advise", ....). I recommend you try and get some Anet support, otherwise how can they ever track down the source. But do not set your expectations high. I had err7s about once an hour three days this week. I also had 2 days of four hours of uninterrupted game play. no rhym or reason that I can decipher. On those heavy err7 days I have jus logged off or resigned to solo farming. I still got the err7s solo farming but at least then I do not screw my team.

I wonder if this is Anet's solution to all those Halls holding builds...

The game is lagging like hell since the last event. At first I thought it was my PC or my provider, but all the other games I play online run smoothly. In fact, this is the first time I'm lagging heavy during gameplay, which is just awfull when playing monk or interupter.

well iguess ill chime in about err7's, we have four guildies who cant get past log-in screen, all it says is connecting, but does nothing else. we have another 2 that can log-in get to GH, but anywhere outside the hall they lock-up or err7. And then we have the issue of just down right lously FPS, in PvP, Gvg and Ta Ra Ab it totally sucks DONKEY BALLSSSSSS....... do something or our 40 member guild will be returning to Wow or whatever!!!!!!!!!!

FPS is your computer, not the server.. I dont experience much lag, except from the lag spike here or there.. I've only gotten a error7 once past while and that was a week and a half ago. Maybe I'm just lucky? :P

yeah, I'm sorry last night about your phantom pain mesmer getting an err7 at scarred earth. I was really scared to go in there.

something really does need to be done about the err7, i shouldn't get wins just because a crucial player leaves.

Me personally I live near the GW center for the North American continent and I have probably err7ed twice in 15 months. Distance from the center would defintely effect things it'd seem.

Same problem here, 2 of my officers have been forced to become guild hall groupies, as nothing is working for them.

My own little key to fight the frequent err 7 lag outs, is if you begin to lag, minimize guild wars, then quickly back in. This seems to fix it for me, but I'm sure someone with more computer knowlegde can provide us with why its so frequent now.

Error 7's haven't really been a problem for me ever, very rare and when it does happen it's on my end anyways. Although this Friday Error "040" was a problem after going 2 wins flawless then our group getting that error, happened a total of 5 times.
I have noticed at least 90% of my error 7's have been from crap phone filters,or my isp crappin out. There is that other 10% of the time I have no idea how but can assume it's because of anets servers.

Was I in your group? The same thing happened to my team. Win two flawless or near flawless (though sometimes the ghost would degen to death and we wouldn't get morale) and then code 40 would kick in. very irritating, it would've been nice to get more than 6 fame.

A number of time my whole party has got a (code=40) at the loading screen before a new match. A series of them last for a few minutes then everything is fine.. but when you are getting quite far and then have to keep going back to the start due to server issues, it gets frustrating.

i was erroring out like 10 times in a row before this weeken now it all stopped and am running very smooth. of course guild wars will never say it was there fault and it was my connection. o well at least no more guildies raging at me cause i e7 in hoh

On Friday, A-net servers were not allowing me to load any of my characters into HA districts (but I could go elsewhere) for several hours. On occassion, I would be able to load in but then unable to load when switching districts or entering the Zaishen. The screen would just stay at 0% and make no progress. I spoke with friends in my area and they were having similar issues regarding HA.

Other than that, the event was great.

I have been err7ing EVERY FRICKING MINUTE lately, and would still have been during the event if I hadn't contacted their support. Aperantly I had a problem with my graphics driver and it needed updating. I updated it and haven't err7ed since.

After the event, I have since been convinced that err7's happen when people run ho...not cool builds. For example Pi was running some 5 Monk 1 Assassin build where all the Monks would just Prot each other while a few off them smited of the Assassin (who got an err7), another time a Signet of Judgement spike had 5 Mo/X and 1 E/Me with interupts/knockdown who would spam Heal Area while standing on their priest (the E/Me who was stopping our choking gas ranger was err7'd). GG.
