New Map Ideas
There has been alot of talk in this forum lately about permenent changes to HA and the most intriguing to me is new maps. Changing to 6v6 does not sound like a good idea at all to me but new maps would be a nice addition. I was wondering if anyone had any bright ideas for new map concepts. I think some transporters like in the new Gvg maps could be interesting. Also, maybe a kill count map, TA/RA style, could work. Having a kill count map might give holding builds a bump in the road.

I agree, a map change in Heroes Ascent would be nice. I think that the majority of the maps are biast toward spirit spammers. Thats one thing I don't like about the current maps.
Like on UW, for instance. Your vs vim, the vim team drops NR down behind the bridge on their side of the map. In order for the shock warrior to extend to kill NR, he has to go leeroy jenkins through about 5 traps, which is never fun. Then.. your RC will extend to you and get ganked by the VIM's iway warriors.

Well I would gladly see anything in place of scarred earth. Killcount is good idea - might change metagame a bit.

how about changing maps so bridges arent bugged....for example a trap under a bridge hits anyone above it?
or the same for spirits bodyblocking from above or below a bridge.
in my opinion maps will always favour certain players (namely spirit spammers) because there will always be a chokepoint/covered area on a map unless u want a flat and empty arena.
id love to see a kill count map would be fun to play and observe. not too sure all holding teams will suffer there as if you hold you look for a jump anyway so if its there or not they will try to jummp all the same.
most maps are ok, a skilled team will know and use tactical advantages on each map because they are posible. so whatever maps they design, its a team's skill in seeing how to use it correctly that will give them advantages.
how about introducing conditions to certain arenas for example just like standing on ice if you stand still you get frozen legs and move slower for "xx" seconds, that would really hurt stagnant builds such as a cg ranger, warder (somewhat), bspiking in general will require you to play at a higher level of ability, or what if everyone had to play under a base -2health degen. we would see a huge change in HA builds and a greater filtering of teams getting to halls.
i would like to see them change the game so that teams would no longer be able to skip/jump to halls by means of timing it. so many holding builds who get credit nowadays for winning halls when they may lose 50% of their battles trying to get there.
