Arcane Vamp Degen Necro Group
Here's an idea, just speculation of course. Take 8 Necromancers, Arcane Echo, Life Transfer, and various other spells, and have somewhat of a smiter group... Co-ordinate attacks, and time things correctly, fairly confident you could take out a group in under 1 minute without too much difficulty. Please give your thoughts as to the success or failure of this "idea"..

Vampiric Touch
Vampiric Gaze
Unholy Feast
Shadow Strike
Life Siphon
Life Transfer
Arcane Echo Awaken the Blood
(no particular order per say)
The idea is to transfer between degen and vamp attacks. Constantlt changing your assault will make for much more difficult healing. Vampiric Gaze from a distance does 60 damage, and heals you 60, and requires 10 energy. Life Transfer also from a distance steals at +8 for 12 seconds and costs 10 energy, Arcane Echo only costs 15 energy. This attack requires 45 energy and gives you the option to mass vamp 2 times and degen once, or mass degen 2 times and vamp once. Again, tell me how and why this build wouldn't work.

Dude personally i love this build 'cuz i have a really good life transfer/vampiric thats quit simalier to what ur proposing so i might try that build. I hope it works

Expel hexes ftl? Life transfer is kind of bad as it is and has zero spammability, and life stealing barely does any noticeable damage. The warriors can easily kill a couple necros with no healing under a minute, and with hexes removed what do you do now?
If you really want to do a degen HA build, I suggest using a mixed build with different classes. You probably want to run a mesmer or two with mantra of persistence, conjure and IoR.

Even if something like this worked, it's never going to be in the form of: 8 of this, or 8 of that. There's going to have to be a bit more creativity, and some serious reworkings on keeping those guys alive. And don't say Life Siphon, Life Transfer and Vampiric Touch, because that's basically the 35 energy equivalent of Healing Breeze+Orison...

Try it have fun.
Realistically though...
Life Transfer...junk. Long cooldown, easily removable etc. Yes you have 8 and if they are left on for the full 12 its 192 degen damage.
Arcane Echo...in PvP, not junk but not usually really viable. The energy cost is hard to deal with.
8 n/me means no real healing and life stealing doesnt really count. There is a reason Blood Spike is n/mo/
But go ahead and have fun.

8 regeneration on a life transfer necro is not going to stop a good shock axe from solo spiking him down in about 5 or 6 seconds.

What this build doesn't have
1)No hex cover
2)Not real degen life trasfer is 8 but have really slow cooldown
3)No heal
4)No infuse
5)No e-management
6)No interrupts at altars
7)even if you cap you need to heal hero somehow
8)no runnin skills for relic maps
9)did i said energy management?
10)I think there mor but i can't think somethin else now
btw how you can kill in under 1 min wth you think monks won't heal and won't pre-vail themselves?

Are you talking about RA ( Random Arena? )
Under one min you mean you get taken out by other team?
Have you been to HA ( Hero Ascent ? )
First of all, how you deal with IWAY? Vimway? OG spike ? Ranger Spike?
Those are all FOTM builds , at least one map you will most likely counter on of those.
yesterday we fought 4/5 OG spikes in a row from underworld all the way to courtyard.
Not to mention dual smite or triple smite...GG
dual smite = each monk got some sort of smite hex, remove hex, holy veil , convert hexes.
