People are probably catching on late from the preview weekend with hypochondria.

Yes I had missed seeing Hypochondria.
Having just looked it up theres not much to say. Virulence spiking is already exceptionally powerfull, add in Hypochondria and youve got an I WIN build from the get go.
No chance that will make it to release without a heavy nerf.

Hence RA only... I love how people say "TA and RA" or "RA and TA" when they're really only talking about Random Arenas...
@The OP, I'm going to guess it'll be closed because it's not really a good topic for discussion, only really pretains to Random Arenas(for which there is no subfourm for a reason), and because anyone running this after the Nightfall preview event is a fool. Oh, and Touch Rangers suck.

What you said in this post could go in the Nightfall and PvP evolution thread, because it's there to talk about anything related the PvP and Nightfall, at least skill wise.
Oh, and I wouldn't call Frag spike as-is very strong at all...

Frag spike pretty much sucks as-is. The only way to really get a kill with it is in the monkless arena of randoms. Unfortunately, it lacks the utility to make a decent solo gank character, especially when forced into an 8v8 fight. A lot of crappy builds dominate RA, solely because they're fairly easy to run and can score kills on mending W/Mos.
Hypochondria made it obviously too strong though.

Plague touch > Frag Mesmers, it's how my Warrior deals with the annoying little buggers, or any Monk, but it's more fun my way.

I bumped into someone using a Virulence/Frag Mesmer the yesterday, claiming his build was "the new big thing". It seems a lot of people caught on late, and didn't hear about the skill that actually made Fragspike good again; Hypo.
